Indeed. It's early days on this one yet but already certain news stories are being written by bots (i.e. automatically).
I love the last line.

"So no, computers are not taking journalists' jobs — not yet, at any rate. Instead, they're freeing up writers to think more critically about the bigger picture."

Yea right. That's what they always say. I can almost guarantee the only freeing they have done is allowing them to think critically about what career they can do next.

Basically as AI improves it will eliminate all grunt work. Not everyone is Michelangelo. Most people, if they are lucky just get to work in his studio. It's also entirely probably that eventually it won't just be grunt work but by then we will have hit the technical singularity so everything else won't be much of an issue.

The ex chancellor Gideon has paid the price rightly with his job as May sets to butcher the Nottinghill set let see if we can get our manufacturing back in years to come!

While finance in this country is geared towards property, shares and commodities, - where did the £375 billion plus quantative easing money go?not to manufacturing -money will not find it's way to manufacturing.

Osborne is too associated with austerity that he was a liability to May trying to portray herself as a 'caring one nation Tory'.

At least the Tories have a Brexit minister to evoke article 50 and get the ball rolling on implementing the will of the people.

Another piece of Googling on someone's view from the USA, they fail to mention if the EU is that great why don't they pay 18 billion upfront , and rely on rebates being told how to spend their membership monies! And end up 9 billion down the pan each year worse if their GDP grows!
Or simply if it was that great why did they not pay to join the EU oh they forgot they get free trade agreements as the desire!
Oh they have their own democracy not falling in line with EU rules, and red tape!
A very biased partisan argument in that article IMO!

I think he's Swedish actually, and it came via my Feedly rss reader (much better than LBC - I recommend it ;) )

Can see what Theresa May is doing here in giving the key brexit related jobs to leavers Johnson, Davis and Fox. Off you go and get us access to the single market without concessions on freedom of movement, off you go and line up advantageous trade deals with the rest of the world.

If they come back successful she can take the glory for masterminding it, if they don't she can just say well I let the leavers try and sort it out you need to go and ask them to explain why it doesn't work.

Interesting to see what happens when barring a miracle they come back with a bunch of dud deals, but I think she has positioned herself as well as she could here. Nicely played.

I do not think they will.
