Politicians never lie..

giphy.gif

There have always been little lies and questions ducked, but these lies are on an unprecedented scale on such an important matter.
Urm Labour are all over the place too one wants a deal, the other his no 2 Watson wants a peoples vote oh. and lets not forget the MPS expenses fiddles -Watson was quite high up in the ratings on that score .......as all MP parties were so at it bar a few, dont come on here saying all Mps only lie a bit........
IMO they all have their snouts in the trough.......

What I get from the document is how could the government be so stupid to extend the previous deal to the end of October instead of say March next year, given the increased seasonal use of the NHS over winter and the fact that our food growing season ends requiring us to import more items.

They would have known this from the last deadline so it just clearly shows the incompetence of the people who have been elected on our behalf to serve and protect the population.
Tax and disclosure due January.

Why are you all still putting your points across about the political parties in this country and arguing their corner?. When the individuals in each party, change stance so frequently and get your votes and then don't deliver on what you elected them for?. Whichever side you choose, you are being duped and have been for a long time and that is what has caused all the division across the country. Divide and Conquer makes it easier to rule.

As you promote this report which was compiled by avid remainers in Government ...
I have alway advocated a deal on here but you have to have a bargaining chip if it was not detrimental to the EU they would have kicked us out long ago its been 3 years.......
The report wasn't for the public, its what they honestly think will happen!

but according to @Joey66 and @Old Blue 2 and @Barnfred 55 it was all scaremongering and project fear, yet here it is in black and white.
Firstly, can I respectfully ask that you don't mention me in this thread again. Because of posts like this I have no desire to come in here any more and had put the thread creator on ignore (sorry @micknick, nothing personal) specifically to stop me coming in here.

But seeing as you have made the effort to single me out, I'll give you the courtesy of a response.

I don't know why you think I believed a no deal Brexit is all scare mongering and project fear. I have always spoken out against no deal and have frequently acknowledged the negative impact it could have on the country, both economically and logistically. I may have mocked the odd post where ridiculous claims have been made. Such as the one where all our aircraft would be grounded because they wouldn't be allowed to fly in European airspace. And I may also have put people straight who believed our financial sector would fall apart in the event of no deal. But overall I have generally condemned no deal for the crisis it will be.

I have read the report and there is nothing in there I didn't expect to see. I could point out that they do stress this is a worst case scenario and the chances are the reality will not prove to be as bad as this, or that the Govt will undoubtedly be taking many steps to mitigate the effects of the most serious matters such as medication supplies etc. But I guess they're not things you would wish to hear so will just dismiss them anyway. Another reason why I'm staying out of here.
