Not in here.

They demand you give a full explanation of the reasons behind your opinions together with evidence to support them. And when you do they ridicule/criticise them with words like Unicorn, pipe dream, racist, Tory, selfish, bigoted etc etc etc.

Basically, if you have a point of view that differs from the majority, expect to be asked to explain yourself. It's just the way it is in here. You get used to it.
Because generally, the reasons people give for leaving don’t make much sense and then when quizzed further it’s cos they worry about old boys buying milk or some other nonsense.

Why is it racist to have conserns about migration?
3 for me if you replace the word discriminated with treated to answer your question.
But as i have said countless times it was UK goverments fault not the EU for not using a system that was already in place.
so wasnt a concern of mine.

Because people aren't being treated equally under option 3. That only happens under option 1. You're basically saying that 'all' foreigners are below Brits rather than all non-EU citizens, as we have now.

And option 3 is inherently discriminatory based upon something as arbitrary as where you happened to be born. So please, don't try and pretend Brexit is some crusade to break down racism.

So option 3 is discriminating on he grounds that British people should be judged on their suitability to work along with the rest of the globe before they can stay here. Pretty sure that it’s illegal to deport someone with sole nationality of said nation under international law. Or do they just not work & take benefit payments? Or do you deprive them of that and starve them to death?

How is controlling your immigration policy based on skills and attributes that are in short supply have anything to do with Racism?

Well, firstly, that's treating foreigners differently than British people, which is forbidden under the Equality Act. It's forbidden for companies to do it, but for government's it's fine and dandy. Secondly, there isn't one ounce of evidence from the leave campaign or its Tory cheerleaders that they want migration to increase. Not one bit. So save your crocodile tears about how people treat you.

So you accept that you want to treat British people differently to foreigners? But rather than having EU citizens as equal to British people as they are now, you want to relegate those EU citizens to second class status like the rest of the globe?

You’ve not answered the question. Answer the question. Clearly you can’t.

FYI I think Farage is a t1t. I think all politicians are. Do you think remain campaigners are any better?
I 'Can't'? No. I won't.
Your question question has flawed reason at its root, never mind the horrendously loaded options.

Farage was the poster boy for Leave. He, with his lies and hate stirring, successfully motivated millions. I'm glad you think he's a t1t, but he's also the reason Vote Leave won.

Pretty sure anyone with a grasp of economic theory understands that you need net migration in order for gdp to grow. I would just rather have people migrating based on merit, rather than whether they have a link to an EU passport through birth or some back door (see Brazilians with Portuguese passports as an example)

Actual remain campaigners are at fault for 100s of thousands of deaths, in the Middle East. They have no leg to stand on

I accept that under international law you have no option.

Oh and stop trying to twist this into ‘I’m a racist’ ... saw it a mile away.

The Equality Act would be for people already here would it not, what is wrong with us employing the same system as Australia does when deciding who lives in this country, we can't have an open door, we've just had 10 years of savage Tory cuts, we have to start managing our population when it comes to immigration.

I don't care where you come from, if you have skills and attributes that are in short supply in this country then you should be fast tracked into living and working here and should take precedence.

Slipping too far in blatant wind up territory here. Reel it back a wee bit and you may get some bites, you daft jokey racist

He is a total WUM.

His user name tells you that :)

That is why I refer to @Hawhaw as Mr. Joyce, the biggest WUM in history.

And I only respond to him with ridicule.....which ranks just above ignore as the thing which WUMs get most wound up over :)

Indeed, and I believe mankind would be far more enlightened if we did away with something as silly as the nation state, especially when we so readily discriminate based upon one's nationality. It's absurd. The very idea of equality is for people to be treated fairly regardless of where you're from, your race, gender, religion and so on. The freedom of movement we enjoy under the EU doesn't go far enough towards that goal, but as you rightly say, it's a darn sight further towards it than anywhere else on the planet, which is why it shames me that we're throwing it away so breezily. It's arguably the greatest political achievement of the last century.
Bruce. That's a fine Utopian view to hold and I commend you for it. But you know as well as i do that it will never become a reality in our lifetime, well mine anyway. But to take the view that anybody who doesn't agree with your Utopian view of the world is a racist is just wrong, and actually belittles the term.

It upset me deeply when you referred to me as a racist a while ago because I have a completely different concept of the term than you do.

I'd rather have the EU system. We're a group of nations with a similar quality of life, levels of education, way of life and so on. It's also a low cost system that works (more or less). Cuts in immigration will only happen when the economy tanks. A strong, growing economy will always see high levels of immigration. We also have an ageing population who need to be cared for. I don't really see the point in all the extra bureaucracy the Australian system would bring. It also makes it harder for young people to work and study on the continent, putting the whole nation at a disadvantage to our neighbours.
