Allowed by who? This seems an awfully snowflakey attitude.

If you want to espouse an opinion in public, then don't be surprised when people comment, criticise or argue the inverse.

Again, I don't think he's making that point.

But you can't say that Leave voters haven't been ridiculed.

Even when Remain voters are saying that Leave voters aren't 'to blame', they'll always come across as patronising by saying 'you weren't informed'.

It's nonsense. People were informed. Some had made their minds up already.

Remain didn't do a good enough job of informing people. Not Leave. Leave built on the general vibe of the public. Remain did all they could to belittle them, instead of actually focusing on their job at hand.

So people can cry about lies all they like. At the end of the day Remain should have done a better job of telling people what was right with the EU, not what was wrong with Leave's arguments.

Can anyone tell me a benefit of remaining in the Eu? Just one is fine.

As someone who voted leave, I can think of a fair few.

- Trade/single market
- Free movement

Two big ones there.

The issue is some like to act that both of the above will be impossible to achieve if we leave. That simply isn't the case.

Again, I ain't talking about No Deal here. That's not what anyone should want.

I think the main thing with Corbyn is that it's clear if he wanted the country to be as socialist as he is - i.e. introduce his policies, he'd have to be out of the EU as a general rule of thumb, but would want the right deal. I see no problem with that.

I believed in him in 2017. I believed he was the right man to do that.

Now, I don't.

It's an absolute mess is this.

I firmly blame Corbyn, staunch anti-europe turned pro EU inside 12 months, banging on about wanting a people's vote/general election and he's being offered that on a plate right now because a GE will be also a people's vote, leave with Boris, stay with Corbyn, yet he wants to ensure first whatever happens, we make sure the EU hold all the aces permanently by outlawing a No Deal.

Astonishing what is going on here.

Much different from your staunch anti Europe Union accusation... I would look into the Socialist label as well, but that's off topic... And I don't believe you needed Bruce Wayne kind post on what to do with Rees Mogg seductively posing!

I Can’t see freedom of movement as a benefit, actually I see it as a racist policy that prefers white Christian immigration over non Eu immigration.

I have a family friend who has relatives who are pretty highly skilled, because they’re not from Romania but from Africa they’ve been rejected to come into the Uk, because of some arbitrary quotas and rules.

Access to the single market isn’t a benefit either, it’s a restriction of trade.

No I'm not trying to stir up an argument is what I meant. I'm not attacking any other poster on here in a passive aggressive way.

I just genuinely think that is the case, you aren't allowed to disagree with the losing opinion.
The tension occurs from those on the remain side who ask for evidence of a statement, a legal principle, a forecast to be relied upon and it's rarely forthcoming.

Rather a feeling/belief/thought/anecdotes are provided as unequivocal evidence but facts or expert advice is disregarded as 'project fear'.

the blame directly lies with Cameron and Osborne for allowing the Referendum to go ahead without any rules/boundaries & with very little facts supported with evidence to facilitate a fair vote. Regardless of the result the outcome of the last 3 years have been nothing short of farcical, with us all still non the wiser what could happen 'if' we leave.

It's applied to an EU national. Regardless of Race or religion.

Not wrecking the Peace Process.

Who’s going to put up a border? The Uk won’t.
Irish won’t.

Will the eu? I doubt it.

Last thing anyone wants is the IRA and the UVF back onto the streets of ulster.

The peace process is fragile but there is already a difference currency, different tariffs.

The whole border issue is a red herring to make the Uk stay part of the customs union.

Have you personally used this? Just curious.

Why wouldn’t a visa system work?
How would a visa system work? Would it go on qualifications, specific skills, marriage. For someone like myself who isn't highly qualified, or skilled or married, would I then be kept at home. I spent my youth living and working across Europe, it was essential to me growing up in Liverpool where work was scarce. I understand your points on freedom of movement, but being part of a European union that benefits all its members equally seems progressive to me and a step in the right direction
