What astonishes, and disgusts me, is the way an MP, of any party, can just say ‘I’m quitting party X and joining party Y’ without apparently giving any thought to the constituents who voted for them. They are saying ‘you voted for me because I told you this is what I stand for, but now I’ve changed my mind so [Poor language removed] you’. As soon as someone resigns from their party, there should be a bye election. The sheer brass neck of some of these no mark MP’s defies belief.

Yay to that.

That would mean he has a “majority” of minus 20 :)
In the short term it won't matter Khal as the only votes are going to be on Brexit and he's already lost their votes in that regard.

I reckon there will be an election this autumn, either before or after 31 October, and these guys won't be standing for the Tories when it happens. I think you can pretty much guarantee that they will be replaced by staunch Brexiteers.

Tell you want the tories under johnson are ruthless , vote agaist your gone no messing about.
Get a phone call off you go.
Tory party not at war with itself in one fell swoop.
Love to listen in on some of those calls.
Unbelievable Hammond has got the boot, I like it though, 3 months ago he was the chancellor, Cummings is the ruthless influence behind all this.

Notice how none, no matter what party have put it to the people in a by election? Yet some think the liblabcon triumvirate are different somehow.

The way Johnson attacked Corbyn after the vote was disgusting. A PM should not talk like that. Hopefuly he suffers a terrible election defeat. Fearmongering about Corbyn and this and that really bored me and is childish

I'm pretty certain that at one point he pointed at Corbyn and spoke to him directly as 'you', which is against parliamentary convention, which should see all MPs direct their remarks to the speaker and refer to each other as 'the honourable member' etc. Clearly DomCum's project is falling down around his ears and he's rattled.

Always wanted to be PM (well, 'world king') and his reign is possibly going to measured in weeks (and even that amount of longevity is down to the Tories gaming the Christmas). He may never pass any legislation, or even win a Commons vote. It's hard to see how any future PM could have a worse record.

I bet May let out a little bit of wee in her excitement of seeing him squirm in the headlights tonight.

Can’t be serious here

I am.

You see what you want to see. In any walk of life.

As Evertonians, we like to believe the media hate us. In truth, they don't.

It's basically the same argument.

There's too many people on both sides complaining that the media are biased against them for it not to be the case that, actually, they aren't that biased at all.
