Sit on his arse ,say i cant get a new deal.
Now do you want to go to the country or should we carry on as normal with this pantomine .
there will be a few twist and turns to come, who knows how it will end up.

Important for Labour to make sure they have Johnson tied down to a pre-31st October election with no favourable outcome for them as the Brexit Party will still be in play as a real alternative to the Tories.

Ball back in the clown's court.

What do you do now Bojo the Clown?

He clears the decks. In the same way that you called for a purging of the LP, Boris will now remove the whip from all the pro-EU fanatics and have an election.....As predicted, Corbyn bottled having one tonight......so I expect Boris will use some arcane procedure to make it happen.......

So General election, vote leave with Boris, or Remain with Corbyn.

Can't see Corbyn getting it.

Thing is, Corbyn doesn't want to remain. In his ideal world, he'd want out.

He's bent to the will of the party.

I hate the Tories. I hate Johnson.

But I want Brexit over with. We had a referendum. If we don't uphold the vote then we might as well stop counting any votes at all because what's the point?

Our entire political system is terrible. It's antiquated, corrupt and unfit for purpose.

It doesn't suit a minority Government like we now have.

However, it does have the benefit of normally giving stable majorities to a party that only has 35-40% of the vote and ensures that extremist parties and views aren't represented.

That is why our Parliamentary democracy has operated with such stability over 300+ years and why the UK has not seen the kind of political turmoil, violence and war that many other countries have seen in that time.

But then what Dave?

Labour wouldn't win, I think. Even with that. Just the way our system works. Plus Corbyn's a tit.
The Tory's wouldn't win either, that's the point. Not if Brexit hasn't been resolved.

Labour's strategy has to be largest party in a coalition government post election...which is what the Tory's strategy is.

The polling atm is not favourable anyway for the Tories to be confident of a majority...Labour can easily and quickly close that gap and then some...which I expect them to do when bread and butter issues get discussed over 6 weeks.
