You dont have to look far to see the themes and links of why some MP's are desperate for brexit, even better with a no deal. They stand to make absolute millions off the back of the rest of us, yet people honestly think these absolute cretins represent them and the best interests of the country.

Boris Johnson’s pro-Brexit backer Crispin Odey has made a £300m bet against British businesses and stands to make huge profits from the woes of the UK economy.

Marshall Wace, co-founded by Sir Paul Marshall, who gave £100,000 to the Vote Leave campaign, has also made bets against UK firms. The firm has taken “short” positions on 47 companies worth £1.14bn, including the outsourcing giant Kier Group, the budget airline easyJet and Severn Trent

Ken Clarke had the whip withdrawn.

He's a boss politician and that's a mistake jibbing him off for the Tories.
He was stepping down anyway at the next GE, which now looks like being in the next 2 months. He probably would have gone into the Lords though so I suppose they have lost that.

I dont know. But her work led to Facebook being fined £5billion pound, now im pretty certain their very expensive lawyers wouldnt be letting that happen due to a screaming left wing banshee who despised facebook.

It happend due to concrete evidence of illegal activity.

I dont understand how you are comparing peoples views and bias with actual evidence and facts...... sounds almost Trump like.

I'm not disputing the facts. I'm not calling the journalist left wing. But I'm saying people will see whatever they want to see.

I guess you're left wing. You'll genuinely talk and speak to people in your bubble, like any of us. We hang around with people who have the same views, generally.

I just see far too many people on both sides of the argument complaining about bias from the media for me to believe there is actually any bias there.

2017

Opinion polls had consistently shown strong leads for the Conservatives over Labour. From a 21-point lead, the Conservatives' lead began to diminish in the final weeks of the campaign. In a surprising result, the Conservative Party made a net loss of 13 seats with 42.4% of the vote (its highest share of the vote since 1983), whereas Labour made a net gain of 30 seats with 40.0% (its highest vote share since 2001 and the first time the party had gained seats since 1997).

Corbyn had a great GE in 2017. I wanted him to win, I voted for him and Labour.

But the Corbyn of 2 years ago is not the Corbyn we have now.

I am.

You see what you want to see. In any walk of life.

As Evertonians, we like to believe the media hate us. In truth, they don't.

It's basically the same argument.

There's too many people on both sides complaining that the media are biased against them for it not to be the case that, actually, they aren't that biased at all.

Nick Robinson, Kuensberg, Neil, all tories, just thinking off the top of my head. Kuennsberg even got warned for her slanderous lies about Corbyn. Their panels are always Tory leaning, they even had someone from Guido Fawkes on the other day lol

So, basically the government no longer has any means of negotiating a new deal now with the EU, so a No Deal is now more likely whatever they vote for tomorrow and everyone knows who stitched the U.K. up.......

Clear the decks on the eve of an election. Yes, I advise him to do that...and face a series of independents fighting those seats they've been deselected from (or at best for the Tories have new candidates who no one has a 'kin clue about trying to persuade constituents they should hand them their votes).

Nice one Boris.
I haven't checked, but I would expect that the majority would have had leave constituents, so both the party members and electorate would likely have been glad to see the back of them anyway.

You are not disputing facts but then say people see what they want to see??

I thought you were one of those impartial civil service blokes........,

Professionally yes.

I've briefed Tory Ministers or taken them on visits on many occasions in quite a few different roles, to the best of my ability.

Civil servants are allowed private lives and opinions. To dictate otherwise is to itself risk undermining the impartiality of the civil service.
