Welcome back Wayne
As a leaver I would rather we stayed in than accept her deal.
I think her deal actually meant that we stay in anyway......

It didn't though Pete. It just meant we didn't get to have everything we were promised would be on offer to us.I think her deal actually meant that we stay in anyway......

I have a question about immigration. Does our being in the EU influence our immigration policy toward non-EU nationals in any way? Or are we 100% free to do what we want there whether we are in or out?
Oh and it's good to see Pete's had a good night down the pub tonight.

Bruce, and all the other Remainer posters, here’s a question for you. Would you accept a deal that effectively manages our complete exit from the EU.?.....or do you just want to reverse the result ?.......in your own time......
Or, in short, trolling.Pete you know how this plays out:
- I say that I don't respect the referendum result because it was undemocratic.
- You say 'you don't know the meaning of democracy'
- I say people were lied to
- You say everyone knew exactly what they voted for
- I ask why you were shocked about projects like Galileo if you knew exactly what you voted for.
- You say something about trashing of democracy
- I say 'it was an advisory referendum that would have been void if it was not advisory'
- You say 'so we ignore the will of the people'
- I say 'it was a fraudulent referendum and would not have been legally binding of it was a binding referendum'
- You suggest I'm making it up
- I post a link to the legal case where this judgement was given and the Government QC suggesting that the Government knew this all along but went ahead with it anyway
- You leave the thread or change the subject to make passive aggressive comments about the Irish.
Exactly, but with less of any of the benefits we currently enjoy and little upside so why do it
The referendum was flawed. I honestly believe that. Remaining in the EU is the best option for the UK.
But out of the European Union. We would have been locked into a customs union that we couldn’t get out of independently....i.e locked in....
by Brussels i meant the EU pete not the city,But Brussels is not a legal Entity, the EU will be but even then someone has to own it, who does is my question ? Anyway Edge, enjoy the break and look forward to seeing you back after Boris has taken us out......,

It wasn't a valid vote.I understand that Charlie, we never always get what we want, but your answer suggests that like most Remainers you will not accept a valid vote. In which case no future vote would ever hold water......
by Brussels i meant the EU pete not the city,
they the EU entity own it.
