It was a question not a statement......
It was ignorance was what it was Pete.

Your line thrown out to be met with Irish lads quoting dates and instances to you. How would it progress the thread beyond equating the Irish state with violence and awaiting a response from posters that deflects from the U.K. having to solve the mess they have created?

It certainly wasn’t ignorance. The answers I received, good sensible answers, have been met with my own answers or questions. And my one question to the poster who shall remain hiding and giving middle fingers, was to show what a cynical hypocrite he is in advocating violence while crying all over the place about other posters. But I’ll leave it there......

It was the Remainers who voted against May’s deal.....did you miss that bit.....even Boris Johnson and Rees Mogg did.....

Some of the ERG mob also voted against May's deal. Thoughts?

I understand that Charlie, we never always get what we want, but your answer suggests that like most Remainers you will not accept a valid vote. In which case no future vote would ever hold water......

Did you not read my response Pete? I said the referendum was flawed (for lots of reasons). So not valid...

I don't answer questions from right wing trolls, bully boy, particularly not from bigoted ones.

Nice try again, use of troll, bully, bigoted, you already tried comparing me to someone banned for right wing racism, but it was you that posted a loose form of justification for violence, wasn’t it. You should just do what you normally do, hide, let the other sensible lads defend you and use the middle finger, it suits you.......

It was ignorance Pete. All of Ireland has suffered due to conflict and it is inappropriate and inaccurate to try and demarcate suffering by a border.

This thread doesn’t need or deserve a ‘whataboutery’ takeover.

Focus on how the U.K. can reach a resolution to the backstop rather than derail the thread by targeting a poster. Solve the backstop and Brexit is yours in a basket.

The ERG have gone too far in their demands, but again I have a view that suggests they have been pushed into that position by the majority of Remainers in Parliament......

I’ll go with that.....

Pete do you not see for one second that:

- to all intents and purposes the UK was split down the middle (it certainly is now)

- Brexit doesn't being any immediate tangible benefits

- the yes/no referendum vote was at best a bit vague and open to interpretation

- the government has been shocking the last 3 years

For all of the above - a hard No Deal Brexit is obviously not the way forward?!

Britain it is...
