Im not saying I hope it happens, but you do have a familiar pattern in this thread.

No I only returned to this thread today to break the news of the Queens speech - I am a football man myself this thread was shut down once - yet allowed to carry on so I left it like many Brexiters have so the ramblings of 3500 pages is one sided - rather go on other threads boy I hate sore losers......
Lets hope our football team win tonight.......
Haha, wanting to shut down debate too, consistent at last.No I only returned to this thread today to break the news of the Queens speech - I am a football man myself this thread was shut down once - yet allowed to carry on so I left it like many Brexiters have so the ramblings of 3500 pages is one sided - rather go on other threads boy I hate sore losers......

It wouldn't shock me if Trumps win again to be honest, so Johnson winning wouldn't shock me either
'In a moment of gleeful confusion, Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage loving Socialist, Trade Union bulwark and horticultural icon @Joey66 seeks help of mods to prorogue the EU in or out thread'.Unbelievable Jeff!!
Don't they still have up until December 2020 to apply for settled status, even if we leave with no deal.? Even so, people have had the opportunity to apply for settled status, either on line or by post, since April this year, and at no cost to themselves. So even if the deadline was 31st October (which I don't believe it is as I said) you can't blame the UK government if some people couldn't be arsed to apply. That's like me blaming Everton if I was late renewing my season ticket and somebody else got my seat.Of course, it's 'possible' that things will be fine. I mean it's possible that the 2.5 million or so EU citizens who had not yet applied for settled status will have successfully done so by October 31st, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they don't manage to and an enormous headache is created by this government. The Tories playing chicken is all well and good, but a lot of people are going to become collateral damage of their recklessness, which is the opposite of good governance imo.
I think he meant this:
Great song, by the way...![]()
People voted for Brexit mate, you cant expect people to be paying full attention to government advice.Don't they still have up until December 2020 to apply for settled status, even if we leave with no deal.? I'm no lover of a no deal Brexit as I've said countless times in here and I fully expect some form of economic downturn and disruption to our daily lives, and yes some people will sadly lose their jobs. But the reason that I pulled you up on that earlier post was that you, along with many other remain supporters on here, pick up on every single process of Brexit and assume that the worst will happen. It's no surprise that so many Brexiteers hide behind the Project Fear banner.

James O'Brien's Instant Reaction To Boris Johnson's Plan To Suspend Parliament | LBC
This is James O'Brien's reaction to the government's plan to prorogue parliament to stop the rebel MPs' plans to stop a no-deal Brexit.www.lbc.co.uk
"No-deal Brexit is what they are currently pretending that they wanted all along, despite the fact that their cheerleaders insisted throughout the referendum that it was either an impossibility or a conclusion devoutly to be resisted.
"It doesn't matter. All that matters is giving people who have no idea what's going on, but don't really like foreigners or Brussels or the EU - and can't tell you why - they've got to keep them sweet.
"How? Doesn't matter - just do something. So today, they'll be cheering the suspension of parliament without really understanding what matters, without really understanding what it means, without really understanding why it's happening, but it will be offered up as a way of edging ever closer to the only Brexit that remains in play.
"It's the Brexit that they can't describe because it's no deal, which means no detail. No-deal Brexit is a no-detail Brexit.
"Because when you ask for detail, the whole thing falls apart."

I'm worried for this country when the people are being herded so easily that they celebrate the suspension of Parliament.
