Actually it's shows those Corbyn detractors in Remain that indeed Corbyn is only keen to compromise for the good of the country, not stuck with a rigid thought.

And more importantly Johnson has now has given Tory rebels the excuse, do your maths...

Surely this level of Conservative naivety is by design Joey?
I am not a Tory but if he does a queens speech - even big gob Dominic Grieve is flustered as he knows iot can not be taken away from a PM.....

Bruce there are 2 months to go before we potentially leave. At least HMRC are making companies aware of what they need to do, and I'd imagine there was a telephone number for people to contact to ask questions like "I only trade services, do I still need to register". In addition the process could just be a 30 minute on line questionnaire. I don't know and I'm guessing you don't either. But you're making out every single process is a major obstacle.

Of course, it's 'possible' that things will be fine. I mean it's possible that the 2.5 million or so EU citizens who had not yet applied for settled status will have successfully done so by October 31st, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they don't manage to and an enormous headache is created by this government. The Tories playing chicken is all well and good, but a lot of people are going to become collateral damage of their recklessness, which is the opposite of good governance imo.

....Johnson saying on telly that the process he’s taking is nothing to do with Brexit is beyond belief. If our most senior politician acts with such contempt, it’s no wonder folk have lost faith.

Johnson is a very dangerous man to have at the helm, we should all be wary regardless of our political persuasion.

Sadly partisanship has caused a lot of people who should know better to jump on the Johnson wagon because he ostensibly plays for their team

Correct but if we had a PM Brexitier to begin with we would not have the 3 year of farce that occured where nothing else was discussed other than Brexit everything else fell by the wayside let it sort itself and if he is unpopular a GE will sort it out......
then who ever is in charge can get on with it the real issues that need addressing in everyday life.....

Joe, if you're not a Tory, can you please, for the love of god, stop referring to him as Boris like he's your best mate?
I call him by name there have been a few polictical Johnsons Bruce.....
to me Boris is only popular south of Watford.....
A GE will sort it all out imo....
Labour lose and Corbyn will have to go , but he wont as Len Macustit will keep him in power with momentum......

...the PM not being a Brexiteer is not what caused the mess.

From Day One, the only way of successfully negotiating Brexit and gaining consent of Parliament was via a conciliatory approach. May’s problem was going alone, it had to be a cross-party approach from the outset.

Oh it did - May was an remainer along with Hammond and the deal she got = I would rather stay in the thing......
