Ax you know I only flip on here today to break the news of the Queen's speech news .... on this thread - I have been called a racist - a bigot - and an idiot by you and a clown by another mod ....sometimes it all in the heat of the moment but now remainers see they are losing the fight against a democratic vote -its getting nasty again.....

You know exactly what you're doing, Joey. I'm not buying your vulnerable little victim act anymore.

...any PM will face the same challenge, without a majority of like-minded MPs. Unless you’re Johnson, who wants to be a Dictator and by-pass Parliament.
Parliment has been static for 3 years as for the other PM who stated we would definitely leave on March the 29th on over 100 times lies lies and more lies then we had the indicative votes - it is a boil that needs lancing one way or the other if the new PM loses the GE then a new PM can sort it out .....
I am a socialist a still trade unionist - the Labour party with a good leader would win easy......imo....

I have to say the idea of a General Election anytime soon scares me half to death.

And I am not even sure the VONC would succeed as the Corbyn bogeyman would be used to whip recalcitrant Tories into line......plus there is a small hard core of Labour MPs more worried about their own seat rather than the welfare of the country who will not vote in favour of it.

And even the VONC does go through, I wouldn’t trust that Swinson woman to agree to a national government if she was not allowed to dictate its make up.

The way I look at it, we would not win an autumn election and the Johnson junta would have five long, hard years to cement the coup it has engineered on this country.

If we cannot get this madness stopped in Parliament then we will just have to put up with it.

But.

By then we will be more than halfway through the term of this current parliament.

Let’s see how the next two years of Trumpism in England works out and I think a Labour landslide would be a possibility in 2022.

In short, I would fancy our chances of winning in 2022 way more than I do in 2019.

I'm not having a go here @Joey66 , so please don't think I am, but I have to ask this to you

Honest question, do you actually read anyone's posts in full or do you just read a couple of words and then just make an assumption on what the other poster is saying?

I only ask because sometimes you go on these outrageous rants which seemingly bare no connection to the post you are quoting. It's like you make your mind up about what the other person has said and then just charge straight in, even if what you're posting makes absolutely no sense whatsoever

Look, I get that no one reads the whole thread from start to finish but, rather than coming in and going nuts, wouldn't it make more sense to actually get the context of a post before venting your spleen?

On more than one occasion now you've completely mistook what someone was saying for something else and have raised hell over it, only to then double down when you are corrected

I understand that this isn't an intentional thing that you do, but can you please try just a little bit harder to understand what people are trying to say?

As I said, I'm not having a go at you on a personal level whatsoever and I respect you as a fellow Evertonian, but this has honestly gone a bit too far now and I think I speak for a lot of us when I say we're getting a tad exhausted by it

I like you and think you're a good bloke at heart, so please don't take this as an insult because it isn't intended as one

Mods, I'll stop playing the ref now ;)

Cheers

Cameron, May and Gideon are culpable for this mess.....

No I only returned to this thread today to break the news of the Queens speech - I am a football man myself this thread was shut down once - yet allowed to carry on so I left it like many Brexiters have so the ramblings of 3500 pages is one sided - rather go on other threads boy I hate sore losers...... :bye:
Lets hope our football team win tonight.......

It wouldn't shock me if Trumps win again to be honest, so Johnson winning wouldn't shock me either
