I don't fear it at all. I think Leave would win again. But it's hardly fair is it? Give the 1st side that won 40 years to see how they like it... but the others none?

It took 40 years for conditions and sentiment to change enough on that occasion and it's taken 3 years for it to happen this time

You can't put a set time on these things, politics and sentiment are fluid

It's fair for people to vote on whether they want to accept the Brexit we're going to get or not, especially as they might end up getting something they didn't vote for

Because the deal didn't deliver on what people voted for... but it basically kept us in the EU.

Should have been fine for remainers
It took the UK out of the EU as per the question in the referendum. It was exactly what people voted for - the problem is that everyone voted leave based on an ever changing criteria.

What it didn't do was keep us in the EU which is what remain voters wanted.

Stop pretending otherwise.

do you know that? I voted to leave the EU... no mention of any deals on the paper. Lower UK Standards? Again pure scaremongering.

20pc? jesus... can't say i've ever been asked
Yea, it's obvious to anyone who hasn't been skipping class. May's deal would have had labour support if she'd gauranteed that.

Do you know how polls work mate? @zzr45

Can you imagine the uproar from the leave side if that deal had been accepted by the way?

It's laughable that it's supposedly now a stick being used to beat remainers with

Leavers would have freaked out at that deal, but now it's great all of a sudden and remainers ruined it by not taking it?

We have a few Muslim players at Everton Joe (not to mention many among our supporter base), so I'm sure you'll join me in wishing GOT to be no place for Islamaphobia.
Thats it Bruce fetch this thread down to the bottom of the barrel...... its disgusting of you to even fetch that up never mind linking it to our football team .....
the old adage all Brexiters are racist is wearing thin even for you Bruce .....

Listening to MPs up in arms about what could happen this morning. All of them have the same thing in common though.

The will of the house, the will of the commons , the will of the MPs etc

Not one of them are mentioning the will of the people. None of them are acting in our interest, only their own
We operate in a parliamentary democracy (democrocy if you're @Joey66) politicians always talk as representatives.

It's not. It's being used to beat MP's

That's not the adage actually Joey

The adage is "Not all Brexiters are racist, but every racist is a Brexiter"

How true that is I couldn't say, I haven't personally met every racist in Britain and asked them about their voting preferences

I think we can safely say that @RichardP was racist. The fact that you and others were liking his posts is more worrying.
