First.
You chose to emigrate, you chose to give up your vote.
Second
You could have stayed, voted for a candidate that holds your views, or even run for office if you feel so strongly about it. But you decided to migrate and dilute someone else's culture
Third
This is a thread about leaving the EU, you've made it clear that you want your country of origin to leave because of the behaviour of immigrants from other member states.
Fourth
Using a term like Londonstan suggests a naively high level of xenophobia that, if your airline knew about, might cause them to reconsider.

And all this from an immigrant who considers himself a patriot, nuts!

What an interesting, agenda driven, persona you have.

I 'chose' as you put it to emigrate because, at the time, it was either that or be unemployed.

I could have stayed in UK as you say and been a drain on society but my personal standards are higher than that. It has also been, in fairness, a wonderful adventure and I have really benefitted from the experience. You should try it. I have benefitted personally, financially, from a qol point of view and have first hand experience of different systems of government to compare with EU and UK. EU is not good.

Your third point is outrageously wrong. I want UK out of EU because I believe Federal EU is incompatible with Democratic UK and that EU is wilfully destroying aspects of UK industry. We can do much better on our own. Wrt immigrants, I just want a level playing field that applies one standard, globally, rather than one that discriminates in favour of those with an EU passport.

Fourth. I wish the term Londonstan was not appropriate but I regret to say, it is.

Here's an idea, you could have moved back and got your vote back.
I left Ireland and knew I was giving up the ability to pontificate about the state of Ireland to people who live and vote in Ireland.
It's the reason I got the vote in America as soon as I could.
Your decision not to vote is yours alone, blaming employment status is more 'passing the book'.

So immigration is not factoring in to your decision to leave?

The term Londonstan is pejorative and offensive and is only used to upset and divide. You know that, right.

All of this from a fella who, I presume, chose not to go back, get his vote and vote in the referendum.

I have a few years left in me yet. Sorry to disappoint. 57.

Oh you havent disappointed at all.

Over 55 and overweight expat with Thai bride harks back to a bygone era for his beloved olde England that probably never actually existed and he has in any case long since abandoned?

As opposed to a modern youth in the UK that is hugely wanting to remain in the UK and embrace multiculturalism and multi nationalism in all their glories. I'd throw in socially aware but digging you out as a Tory is a step too far.

But go on tell me you're balding and read either the Daily.Mail or Telegraph and it's a full house!

You obviously don't understand how my industry works. Yes, I could have gone back to UK but it would have cost an awful lot of seniority and £ to start at the bottom of a seniority list in my 40s with a UK airline. There comes a point as an expat where one just can't afford to return.

I am not complaining that I don't have a vote, just stating the fact that I have been disenfranchised. It doesn't prevent me from exercising my right to comment and influence.

No, immigration (into UK) was no factor in my decision to leave UK.

The term Londonstan is not meant to be offensive from my pov, just an accurate means of expressing how its culture has changed over recent years.
