@peteblue the yellowhammer letter was dated August 2019, meaning that no previous Minister to that time could have leaked this information. Mr Hammond is awaiting an apology from Johnson, apparently. Hope this helps......

I’m not that interested on who leaked it and I couldn’t give a crap what Hammond wants or doesn’t want. That man completely undermined our negotiation position and effectively stopped any sensible preparations for Brexit. His political career is at an end. We now have a PM who will drive a solution or will take us out at the end of October. The whole of the country should get behind Boris as he fights for the U.K. the difference between him and the vacillating May and Corbyn is incredible......Boris is doing to Brexit what Ben Stokes did today in the Test Match, he’s playing a blinder........

Like I said, it depends on your politics. If you are left wing you are pre disposed not to believe anything from a tory, even though it may be an inconvenient truth.
Likewise the other way? It was ever thus, but now in the days of fake news, Cambridge Analytics, political disinformation it's a good deal harder.
Most people go with their gut. It's often the only thing left.

I am pretty agnostic on Left/Right, I tend towards who appears to be competent. Cos lets face it, they are all toads basically.

My opinion on Johnson is that he isnt very clever. He has played to a gallery, and has been naked in his ambition to be PM. If he fails in delivering your version of Brexit, what will you think of him then?
