I stand by what My family and I voted for along with another 17.4 million .....goodnight and goodbye on this thread....till it it is sorted out......
Better threads than this on the GOT thankfully like Everton, and some alehouse threads......
Right .. I need to say this joe and honestly I don’t mean to be offensive at all. You may have voted out but you have absolutely no idea of what you voted for. It’s highlighted throughout this thread how little you actually understand and you refuse to debate any point brought up by anybody else who asks you to attach any reason to your arguments. You copy and paste extracts from speeches and reports to back you up but let’s be honest.. you’re understanding of the complexities of what you are posting is next to non existent.... as is mine I might add. Basically joe, in layman’s terms.... you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about half the time and the other half of your time you are making posts backing up my first statement. You’re basically a wum joe ... an Ill informed wum. Sorry mate.

I should have used OldBlue's super duper jokey font huh?
What would be the point, you might of been joking but my point still stands. Its clear that there is a real contempt for older voters held by a large section of society whipped up by the same media that always seeks to divide us.

A Border is an ex-Australian cricketer. In fact he was captain for a while as well. I just wonder why Australia was bought into this? Is it something like them being in the Eurovision Song Contest? :coffee:
You’re soooooo wrong...... it’s a space between the edge of your path and where your lawn starts

I've said as much in the proposals by IDS to raise the retirement age, but that doesn't excuse the fact that yesterday a number of posters (who happen to be older) showed a willful ignorance of the issues they were discussing. It's very frustrating.

It was we older voters who voted to join the European Common Market. If that was still all it was there would never have been a need for the referendum. The one person who hardly gets a mention, but is the cause of all this, is that yellow-bellied snake, Cameron.

I was going to mention President
De Gaulle and his opposition to the UK joining the then European Common Market but thought I'd just double check first. It makes interesting reading and proves to be quite prophetic.
Had to laugh at the irony of this paragraph from that report .......

Industry Secretary Tony Benn said: "When the British people speak everyone, including members of Parliament, should tremble before their decision and that's certainly the spirit with which I accept the result of the referendum."

If only we had politicians of that ilk today.

The thing that worries me is the connection to the USA and how they'll use the proposed trade deals as leverage on international matters, like what rumour shall we make up next to go and free an oppressed population and plunder their oiI. If anything was to make me change my mind and back a second referendum, with all REAL truth told by both sides it's that.

Sometimes it's better to look before you leap. Unfortunately it may now be too late.

The free movement of people was part of the original Treaty of Rome, so you're saying you're happy with that to stay?
