I am not going to prostrate my personal life on the internet, like no one would be arsed anyrate, but suffice to say that the last 12 months have been "difficult". We are ok, just about, but like the RSA study alludes to, unexpected cross winds could be less than helpful.

So when those cross winds could be inflicted by the Winners, one tends to get a tad annoyed at their self entitled "I am ok Jack" attitude.

It actually makes me want to puke.

It's not great huh? There seems to be those Brexiters who are pretty well off, and those who are struggling, and it's being largely driven by the well off.

Not sure that is actually the case. We like to paint Brexiteers as gammons and old and retired; not true in whole swathes of the North and Wales.

Ignored and taken for granted as an electoral base as much as anything. Trouble is, as you have said more than 2 dozen times, their anger has been trained on the wrong target.

A double edged sword... I see that the yellowhammer report (does anyone know how old it is ?) is stirring up a lot of emotion but it really is double edged. Remainers would like to think it will scare us all into delaying Brexit again, while those in Dublin are now saying that if this happens to the U.K., food, medicines etc etc, it will be even worse for them, and so pressure mounts for getting rid of the backstop......funny how these things work themselves out.....

The report was presented less than a month ago. So pretty much bang up to date despite lies being told.now.

A recent study from the RSA found that around half of respondents would struggle to pay an unexpected bill of £100. There may be many reasons for that of course, but it would appear to leave an awful lot of people in a very precarious place, and vulnerable to even the slightest disruption in their economic fortunes.

I'm sure blokes like Pete and @TyphooToffee have a bit more of a buffer, hence why they can be blase about things, but you would hope they would also be aware enough to appreciate that many don't have that luxury.
I'm overdrawn and don't get my pension until the end of the month. It's nothing to do with money for me, it's about leaving the EU on October 31st and if it means no deal then so be it.

I think if folk said "Could be" instead of "Will be", folk would, or indeed, could, make a better point. Like in my little corner of UK Plc, I have no idea what sort of deliveries I will be making in the weeks following leaving. I have no idea where any of it is made, (I am assuming coffee is imported at some point though).

But IF there are problems with logistics, IF there are problems with petrol, and IF there are problems with pharmas, then yes, my life and that of my ill partner, could be a little bit affected. (And when I say a little bit, I mean an awful lot).

So thats Why ? But I dont think for one nano second you would care a jot.

You do me a grave injustice, of course I would care if someone had a hard time because of all this, but it’s all ifs and buts with loads of scaremongering thrown in. Why would there be a problem with Petrol, seriously, do we get this from the EU ?, and my wife and myself have a regular set of medicines which We will need and I fully expect will arrive, why would they not. There may be one or two days while everyone gets used to things but nothing major will change, why should it ? .....

Bruce that’s disgraceful tbh. I am not blasé about things and never have been, but nor am I easily frightened by silly stories of the world ending just because we are no longer in the EU and unfortunately that’s all the remoaners are offering......
