IF? well
they have stockpiled, and the Calais mayor will not have trucks backing up .......

So what? I asked you a specific question. IF stuff happens that affects YOUR meds, or IF your pension is reduced to pay for the whole thing, would you be ok with that?

Its a simple question mate.

The Mayor was having a No Deal Brexit practice exercise this week.

How is the crime situation going to improve if there is mass unemployment and a feeling of no hope for the younger generation that have had benefits that you and other retirees/coming up to retirement have enjoyed over the years taken away from them...just at the point that you guys have little or no need for it?

This is the mad thing I can't make older relatives see - they've very comfortable, living mostly in home counties market towns, retired, big houses owned outright etc. They just can't understand what the youth are facing, and give similar helpful "roll your sleeves up" advice. I live in a deprived town, and although I've worked full time for 20+ years (save 2 years at uni) I still consider myself fortunate to own my own house in one of the nicer parts of town. Many my age, and the vast majority under it, are staring at a life where things like 'assets and investments' are a pipe dream, and a shrinking economy prone to recessions isn't going to help that any. An entire generation growing up without much of a stake in the country. I work with children and it gets harder and harder to tell them truthfully that working hard will get them where they want to be in life. More and more of the kids are involved in gangs, carry knives, so on, but how can you counter that allure if that's the only pathway they can see to achieve something in life other than wage slavery?

And what did I hear from the 50-something caretaker? "Bring back national service". Trying to ram a 1950s solution onto a 21st century problem. And yes, he did vote Leave.

That won't happen project fear -as for the politicians who voted article 50 thropugh and now realise they have blipped , and are going against Democracy we can and will survive outside the EU - lets say we never joined the EU would we be cueing up to join it - they have handed out 3 free trade deals this year ....... yet try to hold our feet to the fire ....

So why not answer the question? IF your meds were compromised, and IF your pension was cut to pay for the preparation needed, would YOU be ok with that?

I really cant see why answering that is difficult. Its Yes or No.

Why wont you answer a hypothetical question?

Lets face it, this is all hypothetical. No one knows what will happen. So what is you problem with it?

Will you be happy if your meds are compromised and/or your pension is reduced to pay for the costs of a No Deal?

I find it dead easy to answer, and my answer would be No. So I assume you agree?

As I explained nothing I could do about it, just like my wife losing 6 years pension..

You can hardly blame the MP whether they voted remain (or leave for that matter) for a certain policy.

And Osborne wasn't even an MP when the pensions act in 1995 basically put this in motion.
