Not at all. I will debate any issue with anyone, in any thread, bar one as I made a promise. However to then have the same people who did all the crying to the mods, then put all the same Irish issues into the EU thread just because no one bothers to read or comment in the Irish Border and Brexit thread anymore is a bit much tbh...and that is my last word on the subject....
Bollocks

It’s just not true, though. Many a time will you resort to glib one line responses because you won’t debate the points. Saying you’ll debate anything with anyone is different to actually doing it

@peteblue let's come full circle....Brexit was about "taking back control"....including borders:

But now the UK line is that they'll not impose a single check on the Irish border. Can you explain that one to me please?

Isnt it just that the UK wants a border but knows it cant actually say as much as it would obviously be breach of the Good Friday Agreement?

The U.K. government, has consistently and now through two Prime Ministers given guarantees that there will be no hard border. This taking back control soundbite covers a multitude of issues, law, international affairs, trade, immigration etc etc.....

Oh dear, Peter.

The Brexiter war on reality goes from worse to worser :(

:(

It’s a tricky one I’ll grant you, but first we have to begin negotiations, this is just one of many throwaways that will happen....

Hahahahaha.....

“Schools could close, exams could be postponed and fresh food for school meals could run short due to panic buying, according to a leaked report on the dangers of No Deal from the Department for Education.
The risks management memo, seen by the Guardian, predicts a worst-case outcome of food price increases of 20 per cent, leading to increased costs for the department to provide free school meals to poorer students.
The five-page document – marked 'Official Sensitive' and with the instruction 'Do Not Circulate' – also raises the possibility of teacher absences caused by travel disruption, citing schools in Kent as particularly at risk”

I’d say that you couldn’t make this crap up, but apparently someone is........

Stuff like that makes me annoyed as well mate, even though we disagree on the fundamental leave/remain issue.

Folk who use these reports from whoever composes them show their ignorance as to how they are compiled. If you have heard of stochastic modelling, you will know what I mean, if you havnt, (like why would you?), in a nutshell, the exact same report that generated ^^^^ that headline, would also have a way more soft result of a No Deal brexit.

Its why I have never ever posted such a link, on either side of the ravine.

"Those that bet against Britain will lose their shirts" says Boris to rapturous applause.

Meanwhile, millionaire mate of Farage and backer of Boris's leadership bid Crispin Odey is doing exactly that: source . Having already made millions betting against Britain by speculating on currency around the referendum, Odey is now betting against a host of British businesses looking precarious in the face of the chaos of a no deal Brexit.

Time yet for the rabid brexiting masses to realise that they're being led by the nose by a bunch of ruthless disaster capitalists looking to cash in on their misery?

This is what the 'common man' Brexiteers don't understand - the manipulation of the race to the bottom by the mega rich to profiteer off their misery.

'Turkeys voting for Christmas' is the best way of putting it.
