A very flippant reply to what is an existential problem for millions across this country does you no credit.

But typical of the see no evil, hear no evil and for Gawd’s sake say no evil alternative reality Brexit supporters live in.

Here, rubbish this fellow’s concerns as well whilst yer at it.

Indeed. Y2k resulted in around $100 billion being spent in the US alone to overcome the problem, but planes didn't fall out of the sky so experts must be wrong about everything.

This is the same Bank of England that was all gloom and doom prior to the referendum but changed its tune after the result. Is it any wonder I'm sceptical?

Because we had a Prime Minister and cabinet who didn't really want to leave, three years of preparation for a no deal exit were wasted. I'm pretty sure there was a certain amount of work done, but not as much as was needed

I wonder if Local Government Officer Joey66 could start offering classes on how to Google as it would avoid so much silliness. £4.2bn. £4.2 billion has been spent on Brexit by the government since 2016, with Jonhson's £2.1bn to come. I mean they 'might' have just been sat around smoking fivers...

Plus of course, you have the Brexit war chest Hammond saved up, which was £26.6 billion. So around £30 billion that could have been spent on other things has been devoted to Brexit. How much did we pay into the EU again?

That's not the same Bank of England that's got all its Brexit forecasts wrong for the last three years, is it?

I'd give you the figure if I was able to Google.

Bruce, whatever I say you will pick holes in it. I am going to relax and watch wickets 6-10 to fall.

I will agree it was a flippant reply, and I did think twice about posting it. I do not wish anyone to suffer, I am just very sceptical about the forecasts. As I told Bruce, I am now going to concentrate on something I assume we are all (well the English Blues at least) looking forward to. The destuction of the Aussies.
