I dunno mate, getting more vocal and brazen, deffo - but i can't see how they can be attracting anyone new, and possibly cause a tendency to repel some leave voters.

It's an aging population combined with an increasing societal lurch to the right. A xenophobic racist pensioner in Widdicombe is representative of a large amount of people outside the urban areas in traditional Tory heartlands.

The corresponding shift to the left amongst younger people is much more limited. Generally, the UK is as hard to the right as it's been in living memory right now.

I just can't see where any new recruits will come from that are dumb enough not to see what they're actually supporting, that's why the Tory party is lurching even further right, to get those uneducated sheep back in the fold from ukip/bp.

The EU on this Week last night have you seen the calibe of the 4 top post who are being put forward by the EU ?
Michal Portillo was laughing his head off - one for finance from France who nearly went to jail for curruptin in finance ...
A German lady in charge of defence with the most awful record where in charge of Germany's record on weapons guns that would not fire helicopter that won't take off , and she will be at the helm of the new EU army - the other two are Ezu federalist like the other two - when we are trying to leave , and Italy etc etc are unhappy with how it runs now lol
It was flabbergasting to watch do thee EU learn nothing ?
It confirms they are as currupt as anything imo and the sooner we leave this mess the better.....imo.....

Remember the 2012 Olympics? Remember the multi racial, multi cultural, and hugely welcoming picture the UK projected themselves across the planet as?

Then compare that image the world had of the UK with the utter baffoons and racists "representing" us in Brussels. Yeah, we have to take it, but it makes me furious.

They should hang their heads in shame, as should all who applaud them.

I had this exact chat with my daughters yesterday. Luckily they are old enough to be living through this period and can see the Leave arguments for what they are. I'm genuinely encouraged that when today's teenagers grow up - and a majority of the gammon element will have gone to the great 1950s England in the sky - we will see a major reversal of all this bile.

Whilst the accusations of a stitch up are silly, the way the EU went about filling the senior positions is far from ideal. They must surely have known that doing it the way they did would lead to accusations about anti-democratic dealings, and the fact that no eastern states are represented in any of the posts is pretty poor.

Politics is politics. Look at the Tory leadership election. It's as undemocratic as could be. Or our general first past the post electoral system then compounded by a cabinet orchestrated parliamentary system.

So the EU leadership saga has been poor but has it ever been different? And I mean in mainstream politics let alone the likes of Trump and Farage/Banks.

Even if all that you say here is true, it doesn't justify supporting the version of brexit that the bellends espouse. There are other ways to leave.

You still don't get it though, you're jumping onto a pirate ship and helping them sink any other alternative.

Look if we get out and our MPs are currupt we can vote them out - the EU is a gravy train for the rich if we have independence, and just use them as a trading partner without wasting 9 billion fine by 17 .4 million voters ......

The selection of the new EU Leaders sums up the anti-democratic EU. All done behind closed doors, even the EU Parliament doesn't get a vote. Can't believe there are people who are desperate to remain in this club, dominated by the unelected Commission. Talk about not knowing what you voted for, Remainers are clueless about what goes on behind closed doors.

So basically you are agreeing with me......even the German populace disagree with the choice of the next commission President. The whole thing stinks.....

Not before they've taken you all out of the EU though

Indeed, the ability to live, work and travel across 27 other countries freely is completely akin to slavery. The shame that such a woman is representing Britain internationally.

Unlike those wearing yellow t shirts with bol***ks to Brexit who swiftly moved into EU arselicking mode.....

But they will defend it to the hilt.....mustn’t criticise the EU......

If the original PM was a Brexitier we would be out now her chief negotiator Ollie Robbins as cleared off to the USA - how ironical a free independent country.......who wants to trade freely with us .....he stitched that crap deal up - jumped before Boris would have sacked him...."
just the speaker to get rid of now....?
