After all this, we will have another rich establishment figure as PM despite this all supposed to be about taking back control for the people. All that Brexit supporters will have done is help more anti-working class policies get enacted.
Yeah, but they'll be your proper traditional British anti-working class policies, which is the whole point...isn't it?

Which would you prefer, Jeremy Corbyn as Prime Minister, or No Brexit?

- NO BREXIT!

Why wouldn't you want Jeremy Corbyn to become Prime Minister?

- HE WOULD CAUSE SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE UK ECONOMY!

But you would prefer significant damage to the UK economy rather than No Brexit?

- YES!!!

Tory logic....

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bruce, the ultimate irony is, if he'd returned with what he went for, the chances are that Remain would have won the referendum. The intransigent EU shot themselves in the foot.

As per my post earlier in the thread, the only thing he didn't get that he went for were special privileges for the City and the ability to stop migrants receiving child benefits for children living elsewhere. Are you seriously saying you're ripping us out of the EU for those two things?

Bruce, some of the things he 'got' were promises and we all know what EU promises are worth. We are still waiting for the restructuring of the CAP which Blair gave up millions of our rebate for. They took the money though.

You had no idea what he even went there asking for, yet now you claim to believe the EU are reneging on promises. I don't suppose you even know what the CAP reforms proposed during that time even are, much less know whether they've been implemented. You just swallow whatever the Torygraph tell you.

Are you sure you understand your own logic ?.......

Terms such as ‘best of a bad job’ don’t really suggest improvements though do they......and again this is what the EU is about, compromise, always compromise. When we are out we can go for the best solution to every issue facing us and not have to put up with a 28 way compromise....

Compromise is the nature of any geopolitical situation Pete. We don't engage in gunboat diplomacy any more as other boys have bigger boats. Just so I'm clear though Pete, are you saying you agree with the NFU, who also say that a no deal Brexit would be a disaster for British farming?
