This is an ever moving platform for you Pete. 'He's finished if he doesn't get us out by 31st October' has morphed into him having us leave with no deal or the EU granting us an acceptable deal.

Out if interest what is an acceptable deal? And to who?

It depends. If he finds a deal that parliament votes for then that is an acceptable deal. If parliament, for whatever political reasons (and I don’t expect Labour to vote for any deal), will not pass a deal then leaving with no deal is the only other option if the government wish to enact the result of the referendum. Of course they could just ignore the people, together with Labour and allow Farage and the Brexit party to wipe the floor with them.

It’s not a moving platform for me. We should already be out. Boris has said we will be out by 31st October, the EU know the date....

You can bet your last $ Labour won't vote for a no deal.

You forgot old man...a no deal ain't going through parliament.

Unless there is a General Election.

A no deal doesn’t have to go through Parliament my young friend......
The standard Tory MP position is that we actually want a deal, but sould threaten no deal to facilitate the deal we want.

Failing to get a deal is surely a failure of negotiations and ultimately, by the admission of those suggesting that a deal is the preferred position, is the worse possible outcome for the UK.

The best outcome is a deal, the second best is no deal, the worst is we stay in.....

I did say that I wouldn't post on this thread again but have followed it and had many a good laugh. Regarding negotiating a deal: We are the EU's biggest customer. The reason we haven't negotiated a good deal is because we have had Remainers negotiating. We need to get some hard headed negotiators in there. Does anyone think that the EU are going to risk losing their biggest customer? The option is, we will offer their business to other countries as part of a world- wide trade deal and the EU know it. They are not daft.

Does Boris fit the mould?

I’d like to add that you’re talking utter bollocks

After all this, we will have another rich establishment figure as PM despite this all supposed to be about taking back control for the people. All that Brexit supporters will have done is help more anti-working class policies get enacted.
