So labour are shifting to support a second referendum now ?

So if it's not a deal by the Tories that keeps us in the EU in all but name, it's the labour version which is pretty much the same. All else fails throw it to a second vote and hope remains wins second time around.

Welcome to UK politics in the 21st century.

I genuinely hope farage causes an absolute stink because right now every politician is proving to be spineless

Did the ballot paper on the referendum describe the kind of leaving it meant? I don't remember seeing it.

L
yes they want to leave with NO DEAL

that's what they are holding out for.

they haven't held the process up, they STOPPED the country from heading into a truly ridiculous 'deal' which basically saw us remain in it.

they should be commended
Let's all go for a curry 52%
Lets all go for a pizza 48%

Everyone has curry is the obvious answer.

This is a point that has annoyed me ever since the remain voices have started complaining.

No there was no conditions on the ballot but then isn't that more damning? Perhaps people who voted leave had no additional thoughts about deals and leave literally meant leave, the next day just walk out the EU .

From what I remember there was no discussion about deals and let's be honest, all deals are keeping us in the EU in name only.

Damning for who? As OldBlue clearly says, people voted for leave without there being any manifesto to vote for as to what leave actually means, just as you've done the same with the Brexit Party now. If YOU want a clearly prescribed version of leave, then maybe YOU should be demanding more clarity from those who are advocating for leave in Westminster. The reality is that people have shown a clear willingness to vote for airy promises and rhetoric and then get frustrated when the version of Brexit they haven't specified isn't delivered.

Farage and spineless go hand in hand. Especially in his lofty "director" position of the registered company that is the Brexit Party.

Which is why when your Gove, Moggs, Farages etc get put on the spot they have zero concrete answers on how to do it.

This is what we want...we don't know how to get it or what will happen...we just want it.

We're now gone from immigration being the huge part to leave, then having no idea of what the effect it'll have to economy, to now being sick of hearing about it and just wanting to leave by any means.

Shambles.
