As night follows day, we have voted out and so we will leave......
Budget would not go through, but do tell where you will find the money. Balls to the rest: Read my post above if you want to know what was really said.Or making emergency budgets and the possibility of facing world war 3 and Armageddon all in one?
Anything other then a dishonest backtracking of the referendum will mean he has indeed reached his goal. He will remain as an MEP until we officially do leave. He clearly isn't hanging around for the money because us leaving is basically putting himself out of the job! He has a responsibility to those who voted for him to remain at his post until either he is voted out or is no longer required.Farage has not achieved his UKIP's, and his, 'goal' as the UK is still in the EU. Will he still be happy to take the EU shilling and not resign as an MEP? I suspect he will go with the money.
It makes no sense for Fararge to remain as leader, he's achieved his ultimate goal and thus his mandate. If the party has any future at all (and I don't it does) then it must remake itself with a new image and leader.
Johnson has never been all that well liked within the upper part (the people who's voices carry power basically) of the Conservative party anyway and its perfectly clear that the knives would be out for him right from the off if he attempted to because PM.
He said he's still going to be doing the MEP job for the next two years. I expect he's just exhausted.........
He's an elected representative and has every single right to go to Brussels saying whatever he likes until either we've officially left or he loses his seat as an MEP. He didn't resign that, just the party leadership. As far as his "mouthing off" goes, Junker and others did their fair share of that before and after Fararge made his speech.
Your refusal to acknowledge any lies (or political untruths) the remain said told is quite telling. Do you take an interest in politics on a regular basis? If you do then you must be aware that 99.9% of what comes out of most politicians is lies. Nearly every single election ever won has been done so on the back of manipulated figures.Budget would not go through, but do tell where you will find the money. Armageddon out of here....
Nobody would pay any attention to him, he'd be wasting his time trying to be involved in implementing any plans going forward and he knows it.Fair enough, I just saw the headline 'Farage resigns'... Jumped the gun a bit, didn't realise this meant resigned as leader.
I don't get how someone who has fought so hard to get us out of the EU doesn't have, or want, to try and implement some kind of plan once it happened
Yes people have selective hearing I also heard he was staying on not as leader but as a NEP to see the chosen prime minister will get the correct exit negotiations also he is not abandoning UKIP simply making way for another leader, pity Corbyn did not see it that way!Anything other then a dishonest backtracking of the referendum will mean he has indeed reached his goal. He's obviously facing pressure from that odious person Douglas Carswell for the leadership. No doubt this is one battle he simply cannot be bothered to fight. Why should he, anyway? Maybe he feels it's time for a new face to take the party forward.Yes people have selective hearing I also heard he was staying on not as leader but as a NEP to see the chosen prime minister will get the correct exit negotiations also he is not abandoning UKIP simply making way for another leader, pity Corbyn did not see it that way!
I feel its something to do with his billionaire backer now using his funds to get Leadson as PM - who knows Farage did pull out of a channel 4 debate two days before the vote maybe his health, or a member of his family's health is not that good - he is not even an MP - there are also rumours if not the leader of UKIP he may stand a chance of being called upon to be in the team of brexit negotiators if Leadson wins who knows?
They have realised they can't back up the lies they told and want no part of it.
Bottled it.
yes like david cameron who will get a PM pension for life!If ive learnt one thing this past week is that rich people can just quit their jobs when things get a bit tricky.
I am happy to acknowledge a lie if you set it out. You have not.Your refusal to acknowledge any lies (or political untruths) the remain said told is quite telling. Do you take an interest in politics on a regular basis? If you do then you must be aware that 99.9% of what comes out of most politicians is lies. I doubt membership of the EU was at the forefront of voters minds at the last GE. Legitimacy is based on more than a referendum few people wanted.Isn't THE only option a general election as this parliament has no legitimacy because the majority wanted to stay in, but the majority of the population wanted out?
Four disproven lies leep to mind.I am happy to acknowledge a lie if you set it out. You have not.
And yes, I do take an interest in politics.
There are lies told in politics. They deserve to be exposed.
I asked if you could set out "the possibility of facing world war 3 and Armageddon all in one?" Who said that? Just leave people, as far as I have read so far. It was not Cameron, or even Donald Tusk. You said it. Was there anyone else?
Gosh, I do like an informed debate.
