At the time Remain were favourites in the polls - all round Remain spent more than the Leave campaign government wise what possibly went wrong?
Also the vote was to be honoured binary or not.......
No they didn't. Government were not part of the remain Campaign as you've been told hundreds of times.

You've also been told the vote was advisory, it didn't have to be honoured.

I'm still not sure how any of this is evidence of 'remain lies'...

Exactly what I stated it was a non binary referendum but the Government and opposition of the time chose , and pledged to honour it out of 650 MPs over 500 voted article50 to leave the EU through which is still law........
That is far from what you said.

I think you've confused binary for binding.

It was a binary choice on a non binding referendum. :coffee:

Yes they did mate.

Remain spent a total of £19m. £5.5m more than Leave who spent a total of £13.4m. That does not include the government expenditure on the "information leaflet".

I think you owe Joey an apology.

What is it with the leave voters and lies??

Easy money, the government will probably settle out of court again rather than expose the details of their incompetence AND lose. It's a joke really.
You couldn't make this up could you? Surely somebody in the system must have known that not having a proper procurement process could lead to this.

It's at moments like this I wish I was a bit more computer savvy mate. Unfortunately, and I happily admit it's down to me being an old computer illiterate dinosaur, I don't know how to link other internet articles.

That BBC news article is just another example of that corporations bias towards staying in the EU. The information contained is actually factual, but very misleading, as you yourself have just found out. The article implies that Leave spent more in the campaign than remain, but in fact it is the other way around. the figures quoted relate to funds raised by both sides from donations, not money spent.

For a far more comprehensive and less biased account of campaign expenditure, there is an article in the Belfast Telegraph dated 24 Feb 2017. If you google it I'm sure you'll find it.

Just for the record, I am not a liar. I am often mistaken and I'm never afraid to hold my hand up when that's the case, but I've never knowingly or purposefully lied in here.

There are procedures, the government didn't follow them iirc (posted on here at the time).

Symptomatic of the way this government has been using the brexit vote to further it's own party/personal agenda, and a major reason why some of those that voted remain have been aliented from getting behind the result of the vote.
