Of course he does, but he clearly isn't very good at listening to people who are qualified to understand the impact and the consequences of that. But if it doesn't Brexiteers will have a nice long list of people they can blame:

  • MPs (Especially May, Corbyn)
  • Remainers
  • EU
  • Allies that didn't offer us enough support
  • Foreigners
  • Queen
  • Judiciary
  • Lord's
  • Business
  • Bank of England
  • Civil Servants
  • Londoners
  • Anyone bit themselves
"Anyone but themselves"

People voted to leave but have had absolutely no input into what happens next. All they can do is stand by and watch. How can they possibly be blamed for the failures of those who's job and responsibility it was to execute it the referendum results?

It was a reference to a lack of scrutiny and challenge to things that were promised.

So in other words the same old nonsense. We were lied to but we're too thick to realise it.

Just because you keep on repeating it time and time again won't ever make it true. Just tedious.

But by all means carry on believing it if it makes you feel good. You'll certainly get plenty of likes.

Why do think of things in absolutes?

I don't think applies universally. And not challenging or accepting things in good faith doesn't make you thick.

But there were clearly lies and half truths told by those campaining for Leave which have been categorically proven to be wrong.

Now if I were someone lied to and I made a commitment based upon that and it was later shown time and time again to be a lie, I wouldn't keep accepting it. It might not be the sole reason I made for my decision, so I might not reserve it, but if it were, then I'd consider it a bad decision.
