Politics and Democracy are not too great here at the moment.......
Yes we have a Nazi element creeping in ........ ref quote or outburst by Labours David Lammy........
It fine for remainers to quote that, but if a Brexiteer was quoting racism...... double standards and your quite right Pete our politics is broken atm........

Tbf you would expect a higher standard of an MP, compared to a post on GOT. Generally posters on GOT aren't influencers of the greater public. Nobody quotes GOT.

What he's doing is just stupid, or purposely lying and adding fuel to the fire. That's one of my issues with a lot of those Leave politicians, a lot of them are odious cretins. Even though I think the leave vote should be respected.
Speak for yourself!!

Just put it down to misunderstanding. Although I must say, maybe don't be so firmly entrenched in a position unless you are absolutely certain of it's validity...otherwise it has a habit of biting you on the arse.
My son's passport is valid as I stated..in the circumstances I posted ....that's all that matters imo .. end of!

No, they're not. Like I said, the platform isn't completely on fire yet, but I dare say other people feel differently. Everyone looks at the world through their own lens don't they? The Polish lady I mentioned earlier has a number of friends that have left the country, so for them the situation was sufficient to see grass greener elsewhere. We'll see what happens I suppose.

Which of course renders your post on 3280 as incorrect? Laughable....

Good. And your friend is obviously a British Citizen, which is what matters in this discussion.

Might I suggest we follow the lead of Bungle and just have a quick cuddle and move on. Brexit is tiresome enough as it is without going round the houses with mafia passports.

I feel like it's reached it's natural conclusion. Joe is happy that his son's passport is still valid even though he mistakenly thought his neighbour was allowed to vote in the EU referendum as a non EU national.

The end.

are you implying that people have come here to take advantage of our way of life and left when the going gets tough ??

im not sure we want people who move on to where the grass is greener all the time bruce, to have an efficient economy anyways.

We do look at things through our own lens. I’d like to know what lens Remainer politicians are using in their flagrant attempt to overturn a national referendum and promises made in a general election. I’m assuming their lenses are as crooked as a snake with colic.......

No, I'm saying that people in general will choose to live where they believe their quality of life will be highest. Whether real or perceived, May has tried her best to create a hostile environment for migrants, so it doesn't exactly make one feel welcome. As is so often the case in these matters, it's quite probably those who are most mobile (ie they have the highest skills) that are most in demand, so it might serve the country well if those in the public eye gave more thought to the message they give out. I mean the tweet from the Tory MP in Wales made it sound as though EU migrants were being snuck in to manipulate our elections and that they should have no right to vote in them at all. That's about as welcoming as the twit at the US border patrol who grilled me about my visit last week.
