Treating people differently because of their nationality is by definition racist though. It's a shame that this even needs explaining in 2019

Not necessarily. We demand people go through immigration procedures if they aren't UK nationals - that isn't racism; it's common sense.

I don't disagree with you entirely but the way you phrased that is too broad a definition.

He should and Bush tried at the Hague for war crimes imo - so they make him a peace envoy for the middle east - you could not make that up......
While I broadly agree, I don't think there is any law that would apply to his actions that are applicable under UK legislation.

A common criticism of International Humanitarian Law is a disjuncture between international law in doctrina and its application in praxi.

He has tried to reverse Brexit from Day one...... he is more of a shyster than Farage.......
You voted for Blair.

I think the distinction lies in the belief that you don't discriminate because of race, you do it because of nationality. You favour your own national population over nationality of others.

We'll just ignore definitions from things like The Equality Act 2010 for now...

Why is it common sense?

I struggle to answer this because it's common sense.

Not meaning to be condescending but struggling to come up with an answer that isn't...

You can't seriously believe that a nation state having immigration procedure for non-nationals is racist by definition?

Yes and boy he was a con man a Labour leader wearing a Blue Rosette - prefered Gordon Brown or the sad late John Smith tbh - Gordon Brown is the only retiring PM rto refuse his lifelong PM pension to my knowledge .......
Starting to make sense now why you think Nige is a hero.

I have a feeling you might get your fingers burned again Joe.

So a bit of advice here, slow down and think about what's going on before facillitating con-men with your vote, and obviously being a partial cause again yourself.

For sure, but as you say, nationality is one of the legal characteristics of racism, so it seems sad and bizarre that we have people openly wanted to treat people differently because of nothing more than their nationality.
