It's not necessarily the Ports, although I understand that planning only really started in January for No Deal, that will be the issue, it's the transport links too and from, the ripple effect of disruption on the road networks.

Although, from statistics I've seen very few ports are actually practically prepared for No Deal.

Operation Stack will be the ripple effect, plans are always in place for that, but it’s always the known unknowns

The ports have had plans in place for about 12 months. Having met with the new director for Operations at Peel they are more than prepared. Same for London Gateway having spoke to a colleague who is down that end. Felixstowe is an issue, I’ve not heard much apart from the ongoing operational issues. Southampton I haven’t a clue

Dover and Holyhead are a different kettle of fish due to them being ferry and RoRo traffic from Europe

No I think they'd decide what they thought the country meant by 'leave' and do what they wanted based on that.

Which is not as I'm routinely told by leave voters in here 'the will of the people'.

I don't see what the problem is with asking the public what type of Brexit they want.

Remaining not on ballot paper?

Good insight. I was referring more to the North West ones, which by and large, at least in the chats that I've been having, seem as well prepared as they can be.

Although, as I was saying, the statistics, I think they were in the FT, seem to suggest otherwise.

There’s no real concerns for anything other than a Liverpool in the North West. Heysham has a few Irish ferries but nothing of real note. Salford is a distribution hub and the majority of goods clear Liverpool first

There’s a lot of misinformation flying around. The airports may have a few small concerns but the transit sheds are more than capable
