Industry and Banks will be well prepared. So the economy will be fine.......
Yes you are right, they are ready to move to a country inside the EU.

They are not well prepared. They have told you they are, but they are not. Meanwhile the U.K. is prepared for no deal, even though we are told we are not.........

The truth is nobody know's until it happens.
It’s a bit more serious than that. All the movers and shakers locked away in a bunker with the army on the streets.Remember when Gordon Brown sent tanks to Heathrow.....
Plans are always in place for disruption. The big issue industry will have is the over-bearance of central government to manage things themselves. The majority of what I have seen in relation to emergency planning is 'make sure you're Business Continuity plans are in place and the Government will sort everything else'
Freight, shipping, permits, medicines, medical devices, data management all centrally managed by government contingency planning.
Gives me great confidence knowing that Chris Grayling is in charge of ensuring the countries medical supplies are on time.
I don't disagree with the result necessarily, I disagree that MPs should be able to accurate interpret the will of '17.4m' based on the word 'leave'What? a bit dramatic don't you think. The impasse is the disconnection between MP's and the people- they are after all public servants. You may not like the result of the referendum but it happened.

It's not necessarily the Ports, although I understand that planning only really started in January for No Deal, that will be the issue, it's the transport links too and from, the ripple effect of disruption on the road networks. The ports have their own BCP’s in place and the majority have designated space in the container parks to manage disruptions. The vast majority are running on a week delay in a no deal scenario, Felixstowe probably being the odd one out due to ongoing ict issues at the port
The problem is operation stack
No I think they'd decide what they thought the country meant by 'leave' and do what they wanted based on that.Fair point - If 77% MP's voted leave do you think we'd have this gridlock

Why invoke something like that if they have nothing to fear with a no deal Brexit?
