Coz that's the key thing to take from his statement. You've got a European politician giving more of a damn about half of the British population than British politicians are.

Oh, right, the obvious sort. Thought you might be meaning the ecological focussed Dark Mountain.
I don't even think it's that extreme thinking in some quartersThey'd typically beright wing nuttersof a stormfront persuasion who kinda thought eugenics was cool, and that the odd war now and then would help to trim the population a treat. They were often convinced that the world was being Islamified because they're outbreeding us, and must be stopped. Strange folk.
Yea, some can be a big part of the problem themselves. They believed themselves to be environmentalists, but yeah, probably the obvious sort. I don't tend to rub shoulders with these people now, but environmentalism has some pretty extreme folk across the board.
Of course, he's telling lies and he knows it.

If you look over your head you'll see his point flying past![]()
Should mind his own business, he has got more to worry about like the IMF warnings on the euro banking/economy or the dutch voting for there own version of a brexit party, than sucking up to parts of the UK population.
They are not represented in parliament that's a a joke they are over represented that half the problem going forward
By the way has he said anything that would change if we stay in, to appease the fears of those that don't support his vision of the EU in the UK or anywhere else for that matter ?
Having worked across the world in conflict resolution, this is absolutely the case. It's education and experience of 'others' that reduce hostility.Interestingly, a similar thing occurs with cyclists (bare with me). A new study (http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.trf.2019.03.005 if you're interested) has basically found that manyTop Gear loving whoppersmotorists regard cyclists as 'subhuman', which then influences how they behave towards them on the road. A big part of the problem is that they don't actually know any cyclists so this mirage can emerge. It's only when they actually meet cyclists and see that they're normal people that they start behaving more responsibly towards them.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the same isn't true of migrants, as ardent leave areas are usually those with fewest migrants, so the perception people have of them is fueled by the awful things printed in the press. They're 2nd class citizens here to do bad things. A number of studies have said things like having more migrants commenting in the media would help, or various other things to encourage more contact between them. Lots of things can be done, it's just a shame that our politicians kowtow to the media and dog whistle instead.
66 million didn't, don't they count , do we get more votes for steps on are apple apps these days or something?"1 million marched"
