UKIP are dead, it's all about the sexy new Brexit Party now.

In all seriousness, I think if someone suggested a policy of forced sterilization or one child only policy on immigrants, people would go for it their droves.

You need to keep up UKIP are now officially nasty racist Islamophobes because they’ve elected the islam Obsessed Batten as leader and he brought in tommy Robinson .it was so bad all the decent chaps had to quit , they were appalled and went to the new Brexit party .

The Brexit party are the ones where the leader resigned after a week or so for Islamophobic tweets , set up by farage he who stood in front of the breaking point poster . You know farage the bloke who said on Fox “there are quite big areas of East London that have become wholly Muslim “ . “There are gangs of men out saying to women in short dresses there shouldn’t be there; to people in having a drink that they shouldn’t be there.”. Farage the bloke who supported the Muslim ban , retweeted Londonistan and spoke about Muslims having split loyalties .

So you can see the Brexit party are the good guys not like those nasty racist UKIP lot .

Barry Gardiner saying that Labour will vote against No Deal and Revocation of A.50. 'not a remain party, we've accepted the result of the referendum'

Doesn't seem to realise that the revocation amendment is there to stop a no deal.

Regardless of politics, we are being led by utter morons.

There is intense speculation that the Conservative Prime Minister will be announcing her resignation at 5.00 pm. Yet Barry Gardiner, (presumably on behalf of Corbyn), has turned today into a crisis for Labour. That takes some doing.

What makes you think that?
I think it's there underlying when you probe a bit deeper into people's thinking about immigration - and who they don't like.

Nobody ever talks about 'too many Germans' or 'too many French' it's Eastern Europeans and, mostly Muslims they don't like - as they are seen as 'drains on the economy' which is why you get phrases like 'swarm of immigrants' and 'the country is full'.

Media have dehumanised some corners to the point that I could easily see those policies being favoured - I've heard people discuss them, at length, under the guise of 'intellectual thinking'.

Take the Refugee Crisis in 2013, there were calls for military blockades and even gunships sinking the boats and 'civilization' differences which mean that 'Africans' and 'Muslims' (I understand that they aren't mutually exclusive) are uneducated so have lots of children - Macron was bleating about it recently.

Interestingly, a similar thing occurs with cyclists (bare with me). A new study (http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.trf.2019.03.005 if you're interested) has basically found that many Top Gear loving whoppers motorists regard cyclists as 'subhuman', which then influences how they behave towards them on the road. A big part of the problem is that they don't actually know any cyclists so this mirage can emerge. It's only when they actually meet cyclists and see that they're normal people that they start behaving more responsibly towards them.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the same isn't true of migrants, as ardent leave areas are usually those with fewest migrants, so the perception people have of them is fueled by the awful things printed in the press. They're 2nd class citizens here to do bad things. A number of studies have said things like having more migrants commenting in the media would help, or various other things to encourage more contact between them. Lots of things can be done, it's just a shame that our politicians kowtow to the media and dog whistle instead.

They'd typically be right wing nutters of a stormfront persuasion who kinda thought eugenics was cool, and that the odd war now and then would help to trim the population a treat. They were often convinced that the world was being Islamified because they're outbreeding us, and must be stopped. Strange folk.
Oh, right, the obvious sort. Thought you might be meaning the ecological focussed Dark Mountain.
