There's no going back to Brussels. This is it.

It'll be a defeat (despite all the curent piping up of some on the flaky fringes of opposition to it) of about 90-110 votes.

They would be hard core leavers and never agree any other amendment even if one were possible.
so it'll likely be a defeat,
then there'll be a vote on avoiding a hard brexit which will pass
then what happens?
There's a GE where all the campaigning is done along the lines of 'remain' or 'no deal brexit' as anyone who opts to run on a compromise ticket probably wont get elected and party politics doesn't seem to matter any more.
Grim, which ever way it plays out.
Edit, just read Edges post about parliament having to dissolve in the case of a GE.

There surely has to be a no confidence vote immediately following, she's 'leading' a zombie government that are completely stuck in the mud

Interesting Charles Walker a senior tory saying there needs to be a general election...

Yeah but I think they will get an agreement from the EU for an extension before they go for a GE. The problem, as I said in an earlier post, is if the EU say no to an extension. I don't think this will happen personally as I don't think the EU would be that reckless.

The key is the date to that extension - the EU have said end of May max (as this when European parliament elections start) - if it's longer than that then UK will have to put up and vote for MEPs (provided EU agree, which I think they would).

Basically if we want anything meaningful to happen (2nd ref or GE) then we will have to be involved in European elections.

The only way to get round this is to pass May's deal on third reading, have no deal or try to get a Norway type deal through parliament quickly.

I think the EU will agree to an extension, they will want to demonstrate 'good faith'.

Hope not, but they do need agreement from 27 nations. There could be all sorts of people looking for all sorts of conditions.
