don't know what Pete said but here is an article about the French involvement at the, time.there are others
debatable if you could blame the French government, but not really sure myself all a bit shady as most things to do with arms sales are unfortunately .
worth a look anyway even if it's not what you two are having a go about..
Edge, @peteblue stated that the French supplied the Argentines with Exocets during the conflict. I pulled him on that specific statement and he then came out with the 'read 2,000 pages' nonsense. I have been asking him to be honest that he deliberately lied and he is hiding behind the line about technical help given by some engineers. The French government did not, of course, supply Exocets to Argentina during the conflict. Hope this clarifies why I have tried to call him out. To be fair, this is not the first time he has acted like this.

I never asked you to read 2000 pages, is that a lie or a mistake ?........tbf this is not the first time you have tried to bend the truth......

Who needs evidence and facts when you've got a steadfast belief based on absolutely nothing.

No, I have no steadfast belief in respect of climate change, I just have no steadfast belief in today’s experts and their knowledge, as I’ve argued all along. I don’t expect you to understand a challenge against accepted wisdom, but nonetheless I do so.......

Grow up. I asked for a direct answer and you tried to deflect me to hide the fact that you shouldn't have made the statement that you did. I note that while you didn't specifically say 'read all 2,000 pages' you did not, and have not yet, directed me to the relevant page nor answer my question directly. I await either/or. Your last sentence is not even worthy of a response. You're a bluff lad.

It's not a challenge against accepted wisdom that has any merit though. Your opinion is not as credible or persuasive evidence of something as well researched and reviewed findings.
