Sick of hearing, "we're all gonna be fine" from people who are retired and comfortable. Get in the bin!

"When I voted to leave I didn't think it would change anything for my rights to live here. We like it here and we don't want to go back but if I don't get my pension we might not have a choice."

Random (leave voting) pensioner from Spain on the BBC today showing a similar level of unfounded bravado.

Morons. Did ex pats not think it might be a good idea to do a bit of research before they voted?

People are already losing their jobs because of brexit, you laugh it off as 'project fear'
Unemployment is down since the vote out since the referendum.....
The car industry because of the diesel scandal Bashir the industry...
I admit uncertainty of Brexit is not helping, but the room ,and gloom is not helping in the media!

I shall.

*looks for the millenium bug thread to bump

With respect though Dan, you don't trade internationally, you don't have any EU migrants who are worried about their status, your village doesn't involve much cooperation with other countries. It's an English bubble that isn't really very representative of other parts of the country who are unsurprisingly slightly more concerned.

Have you read the government document outlining the things people can do for the no deal Brexit you've advocated for much of the past year?

With respect, you don't have a clue about my personal circumstances.

I choose to live where I live for a lifestyle I prefer, my business is another matter entirely - registered in Liverpool, office in Liverpool with it's biggest client in the EU.

Fair point, but our services aren't reliant on any of the rules and standards that are up for debate during this process. To shrug our shoulders because we're alright is scant consolation for those who are effected.

This is a wonderful position until they realise that around 100,000 recorded (not really any recorded data on agency staff) social care staff are EU Nationals and a significant proportion of domiciliary care providers (around 80%) are small/medium largely family owned businesses.
