My two take homes from that:

I didn’t say that. I said he’s an idiot. The U.K. will do exactly as he says, but it would have been better not to try to build himself up in the process. So if an EU politician says stuff, are you saying I should believe them or not believe them ?....

Depends who is saying it and if you can find evidence that it's correct.

As I've said before, there has been talk of an 'EU army' for decades, and we're still no nearer to having one, and we wouldn't have had one had we stayed in and used our voting rights.
