I am older, I have quite a few formalised qualifications, probably more than yourself, I voted Leave because I am not frightened of breaking up the status quo. You and other Remainers are terrified of the ‘unknown’. Us older people have seen the unknown and are not quite as scared as you evidently are.......

Stop stealing the glory from your parents again, Pete. They're the ones who dragged the country through the "unknown" and your lot reaped the benefits (literally!). Now you've had your fill you can pull that drawbridge up behind you.

I accept they probably didn't ask @peteblue but the findings that 71% of pensioners (with their triple locked pensions) would happily blow up the economy to deliver Brexit underlines the madness we're dealing with.

Hi Bruce,

Outwith the above, this is hilarious!

My two take homes from that:

  1. Male Tory pensioners are a bunch of selfish aul bastards.
  2. Still, even at this late stage, no one gives a crap about the opinions of people in NI...

So when a British politician says stuff it's bluster, but when a Euro politician says stuff it's an indelible sign that we're going to have an EU Army and be jackbooted down the Mall?

I didn’t say that. I said he’s an idiot. The U.K. will do exactly as he says, but it would have been better not to try to build himself up in the process. So if an EU politician says stuff, are you saying I should believe them or not believe them ?....

Depends who is saying it and if you can find evidence that it's correct.

I'll give you a head start. If it's Farage, don't believe it.

As I've said before, there has been talk of an 'EU army' for decades, and we're still no nearer to having one, and we wouldn't have had one had we stayed in and used our voting rights.
