So now it’s an inference. One that takes only place in the minds of those that interpret what they wish to interpret.....
You implied here didn't have Ireland's interests at heart as his name is not a traditional Irish one.

It follows the same logic as 'Barack Hussein Obama isn't American' because he doesn't sound American.

What a load of rubbish. "Territorial ambition" coming from an English person !!! Oh the irony.

The population of the island of Ireland can decide whether or not to unite politically by future referendums. Even SF accepts that. The Republic has no territorial ambition over the 6 beyond this and this is whar was voted on by all of the island in the GFA.

What is immediately threatening to all on the island is the economic imperative of avoiding disruption to trade across all 32 counties.

Separately, imposition of a hard border with customs and security posts is meat and drink for the tiny extreme fringe who would love an excuse to shoot or bomb.

Please try to be sensible when posting.

What does anyone being ‘English’ have to do with it....

And strangely enough he didn’t like the U.K. either. Very often a persons background and their families background play into their views and perspectives. Dominic Grieve was born to a French mother, was educated at the Lycee, presents in French on French television and radio, has a large home in France and holds the award of Legion of Honour awarded by the French, and is currently leading all attempts to dismantle Brexit. Now Grieve is no doubt an honourable man and believes what he is doing is right, yet it would be rather foolish to dismiss his background as not having some small influence over his beliefs and actions...we all do it......

What name do you think would represent British interest the best:

Farage?
Francois?
Rees-Mogg?

Having let his racially motivated prejudices slip out last night when he was bladdered, today he is making a desperate attempt to wriggle out of it.

Embarrassing.

Yes you are embarrassing...

I see that an American professor has stated that Mary Poppins was racist, because her face was blacked to perform with the Chimney sweeps. You should be all over this......
