People on both sides of the political spectrum need to calm down?!

not a fan of the fella but what's happened to respect in this country, that's plain bullying.

MP’s complaining about being called Nazis for doing their jobs. Now they are asking for the police to start being more robust.

Do we curtail free speech now or just when it suits MP’s?

Traffic wardens and police get called Nazis quite a bit, I don’t see MP’s jumping to their defence. Only when it’s happening to them do they want something done about it.

Free speech does not give anyone carte Blanche to abuse and intimidate who they like.

I know that but how far do you go with free speech before it’s seen to offend and becomes a criminal act.

The irony of the left wing demanding the police take action and curtail free speech.

I don’t condone the comments made by the way or the actions of these yellow vests. In my opinion they are using Brexit to incite unrest like in Paris.

Totally incorrect anyone can push a lawn mower -
It was groundbreaking for me to supervise 10 young lads in another part of the nursery aged 21 being observed on the work I got out of them and the commeraddy I built up in team work .... He told me if you read my original post get your City & Guilds but learn off me in fact he told me from day one ever never say it should be done the college way , but his way -he was spot on the London City and Guilds 1 & 2 a 4 year course day release and block release was 90% theory.
I was in the same place as Roy Lancaster in Preston Myerscough Horticultural college - I was asked to do a HND - I rightly turned it down as I found out in future interviews they wanted to know what I could propagate my many qualifications by then were just a nod of approval not a big chat or a slap on the back as well done.. in fact one interview I had a plant identification test before my interview 30 out of 30 I scored knew them off by heart & thier families top of my class in Botany - it was all about my experience working under the best tree , and shrub plant propagator I had ever seen - I went on to train many apprentices in that manner as I got promoted - The person I was originally tutored off his colleague of that era became Liverpool Parks superintendent, it never bothered him, because I probably knew he was better than him practically - I ask you this who do you want to landscape your garden a person like me if I was young and fit enough - or a bookworm........
The guy who did get the Liverpool parks superintendent's job was a great horticulturist as he was trained by my boss.........
Firms tried to headhunt him - that happened to me later on in life........ gaining the IOH letters after my name which I rarely mentioned....
I am now retired -so as the saying goes don't try to tell your granddad how to suck eggs......

Surrounding an mp and Screaming she’s a nazi because she’s voting remain isn’t free speech though is it ? Thinking that that’s a bit ridiculous isn’t political correctness gone mad either , that’s the world we’re in and it’s not healthy .

We’ve had the mail calling judges enemies of the people , the express with sabotage Brexit at your peril headline and The telegraph asking the question is may guilty of treason . In this thread we’ve genuinely had people accused of being traitors , I don’t mean those accused or suspected of conspiring with a foreign I mean those who disagree , only yesterday a new poster used the word patriot , patriotic and patriotism in three separate posts . If people can’t see this is dangerous than I’m genuinely concerned but people won’t , the damage the media have done in this will take years probably decades to move on from . The far right are completely energised again , you’ve only got to look at the last pro Brexit March and who organised it or the leadership of UKIP .

Genuinely worrying times .

When nuclear war breaks out, I figure we'll need people who can identify the right plants and mow lawns, so I've been hitting the books to take that spot in the caves we'll live in for the next 30 years. I'm at 16 out of 30 on the Who Wants To Be A Horticulturalist course at Trump University at the moment

The leave campaign used two companies, Cambridge Analytica and AggregateIQ to target voters to swing the vote, the remain side were doing similar but nowhere near as cutting edge and sophisticated.

Both these companies have ties to the US billionaire Robert Mercer, who was involved in the Trump election campaign and was the single biggest donor to Trump.

Basically these companies had the deciding factor in both Brexit and Trump being elected, is the conclusion you can draw from it.

Haven’t watched it yet but looking Forward to it , funny enough just had a meeting with a big Brexit supporter and she enjoyed it even though I thought she’d be against the programme .

The statements at the end were very eye opening, the same analytical targeting of voters through social media during Brexit was involved in getting Trump elected, these companies are very powerful and are deciding the fates of countries and who will be PM/President.

No doubt , interesting how we interpret that depending on our view I suppose . Having not seen it I find the idea troubling she saw it as visionary, it’s looking at things through the Brexit microscope again I suppose .
