The next step in the Brexiteerrs' campaign - Brexit was a good idea, a great idea, but it was betrayed by the people who failed in the negotiations. In the extreme version, May and Hammond deliberately negotiated badly because they preferred Remain anyway. They'll ignore the fact that Davis and Johnson were deeply involved in the negotiations - they'll say it was a good idea, just that it hadn’t been done right. Whatever happens, the Brexiteers will not admit they were wrong from the start and that their campaign was based to a significant extent on lies and prejudice.
