If this did happen, would that mean we'd default back to previous terms or would it then mean we'd have to sign up to the signle currency, army, and Shengen etc like a new member would? Is there any information on that?

To do a Theresa May on this, nothing will change. Our membership right now hasn't practically changed.

That decision this morning is a bit of a gift for May though - it might get panicky Brexiteers to vote for her deal just to secure any type of Brexit, no matter how stupid it is.

Taking back OUR borders. Immigrants won’t be able to get in because they’ll die of starvation crossing the channel after 3 weeks at sea (unless they get the salad truck). You just don’t understand the excellent foresight envisioned by Brexit architects.
Ha, it's like the Conservatives have been stroking it for two years and suddenly realise their thesis is due in tomorrow and most of them will just drop out and work for daddy rather than put the shift in to justify their time.

EU court just ruled that if the UK changes its mind to leave, as long as the HOC vote on it, the remaining 27 members cannot veto it.

Thats awkward.
That would mean no democratically taken vote would ever mean anything ever again.

No chance the vote gets ignored.

wouldn't be a bit surprised if after all this two years of fighting we end up just going back to were we started

The marginal vote hasn't been ignored, we've had two years of the best of Brexit intent from the government voted in with that mandate, to the exclusion of pretty much everything else and they're nowhere near resolving or delivering what they stated they could.

We also democratically vote to have MP's to make decisions on our behalf. If they feel that we can't leave in an orderly fashion, then they have a right to put a halt to it.

It's not like a remain government is doing the negotiations. The Tories want out and have pushed for it, but they have had over 2 years to get a deal and they still can't come to an agreement within their own party.

The whole thing should just be put on ice until something changes which allows brexit; So that would be Ireland becoming an independent nation or uniting with the ROI, or the GFA is torn up. If any of these things happen then another referendum is triggered to see if people still want to leave, then we have something that can actually be delivered if they still do.

Paying 39 billion, keeping free movement, not having a say on any new EU directives and unable to break out of the agreement unless they say so is a bad, bad deal.
