pete those figures doing the rounds are based on models of situations that could arises, we might lose ex amount of billions if a b c and z all managed to line up nothing but a punt , its all part of the game to eventually get the vote overturned or as good as in real terms.

To be fair, they were asked to, and subsequently produced, a number of scenarios based upon a range of possible outcomes - https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/rep...cenarios-and-monetary-and-financial-stability

The media may have focused on one particular of those scenarios, but that doesn't mean others weren't produced.

the problem ,Bruce not yourself , is that people in the media are reacting to them as if they are an actual forecast, not simulations of something that may or may not happen if certain hypothetical thing happen in a particular order, anything added to or taken away from the simulation would provide different outcomes so its an educated quess at best not a fact as some are trying to portray to the public for there own ends.

Seems a bit of a leap Pete to suggest that people voted to leave so that they would be worse off. That might be something that's being retrofitted to the current situation, but surely people who weren't thriving in life at the moment weren't voting for something that would make their life harder?

Looking back over this thread, you yourself have said numerous times that this will make our country better off, and suggested many times that the fall in the value of the pound would rejuvenate our exports and so on.

Indeed, and I still hold that view. But we knew there would be a short term hit.....

EU court just ruled that if the UK changes its mind to leave, as long as the HOC vote on it, the remaining 27 members cannot veto it.

Thats awkward.

If this did happen, would that mean we'd default back to previous terms or would it then mean we'd have to sign up to the signle currency, army, and Shengen etc like a new member would? Is there any information on that?

Taking back OUR borders. Immigrants won’t be able to get in because they’ll die of starvation crossing the channel after 3 weeks at sea (unless they get the salad truck). You just don’t understand the excellent foresight envisioned by Brexit architects.
