Most EU member nations don’t want a United States of Europe. Each country has veto power or the ability to opt in or out of policies. Up until now the U.K. was a good example of this. Ireland has forced treaty rewrites to reflect neutrality and tax control. The single market is the major achievement of the EU.
Yes the EU -

The EU rules prohibit individual countries from negotiating their own deal. Instead the EU negotiates trade deals on behalf of all 28 member states.

UK cancer and children’s wards being hit by closures
https://www.theguardian.com/society...rds-being-hit-by-closures-nhs-staffing-crisis

Growing numbers of hospital units that provide cancer care and children’s services are among those being forced to shut because the NHS’s deepening staffing crisis means it has too few doctors and nurses to operate them safely.

The closures are leading to patients having to travel further to receive care as NHS bosses increasingly decide to centralise services in fewer hospitals in response to gaps in rotas.

The trend prompted the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) to warn that “skeleton staffing” means patients are suffering.

“Every day brings fresh and devastating examples of patients paying the highest price for staffing shortage. There are no benefits to running the NHS on a skeleton staff and refusing to acknowledge that means the ultimate losers, as ward closures around England show, are patients,” said Dame Donna Kinnair, the RCN’s acting chief executive.

Units providing cancer care, services to children and rehabilitation to older patients are among those affected by an ongoing trend which critics say is slimming-down by stealth of NHS care.

Kinnair said: “Staffing shortages push nursing staff to the limit, forcing them to deal with intolerable pressure and escalating workloads. Wards across the country find themselves in a position where even one or two registered nurses leaving or retiring means there’s no conceivable way to operate safely, and the remaining workforce are uprooted to plug gaps in rotas elsewhere.”

The BMA has warned that Brexit will make NHS understaffing even worse if fewer doctors from the EU27 countries decide to come and work in Britain.

How will we make up for the Brexit-driven collapse in European nurses working for the NHS? You guessed it! By scrapping the student nurse bursary and working them into the ground while paying at least £10k/annum less than any other developed English-speaking country!

Starting nurse's salaries by country:
Britain - £22k
Canada - £35k ($58k CAD)
Australia - £37k ($65k AUD)
USA - £52k ($67k USD)

^^Thanks Tories! ^^Thanks Brexiteers! Take a bow, lads.

In what world does Brexit get blamed for this. You cannot argue that Brexit reduces the number of EU staff while simultaneously showing that the U.K. pays less than anyone else.......

That's the Gove who was widely tipped to take the Tory leadership after the referendum but bottled it? That Michael Gove? That's who you're hanging your hat on now?

Horses for courses. He is a sneaky untrustworthy individual who I cannot stand, but he is head and shoulders above May when it comes to dealing with other sneaky untrustworthy individuals......

May now saying the agreement cannot be changed. The EU saying the same. It’s official, we are being stitched up. Any agreement can be changed. Any agreement can be amended up until the point of signing. May is delaying the inevitable departure of herself until the EU have signed as a way of saving her job. I trusted this woman, I thought she would represent the vote. She is no better than any other lying politician.......

?? I emigrated from the R.o.I.
But I’ve lived all over the place and the cancer of nationalism is everywhere.

Especially in Ireland......and France, Germany, Spain, Italy, China, USA, Russia, north Vietnam, south Vietnam, Japan, all east european countries, all of Africa, South America, Australia and NZ. But apart from all the other countries in the world the U.K. has a cancer of nationalism (forgot about the Scots and the Welsh, sorry)........

Yup, it’s everywhere and it’s an easy tool to use if you want to rally people to your cause. Religion with borders.

The Times summed him up well the other day. Along the lines of "Michael Gove is a politician who has fought his conscience many times during his political career. He has never lost."

If it walks like a Tory ... and talks like a Tory ....

Housing shortage - ask yourself getting a decent tradesman in times served its a struggle now - decent mechanics in garages many closing- etc etc basic skills dying away as the real tradesmen are retiring early or being made redundant as our manufacturing industries have been decimated under many governments over the last 20 years - let's face the car industries we don't engineer parts anymore they are just mainly self assembled from parts outside the country, I know it is hard to get back , but leaving the EU would be a start at least.....

Ok, so you think there is a skills shortage in the building trade, and you believe that it is because British people are going to university rather than into trades. The industry on the other hand, think it will be because tradesman will quite probably not qualify for any kind of post-Brexit visa, and that the existing government support isn't working.

I'm sure you're aware of the apprenticeship levy, which was designed to incentivise apprenticeships of the kind you appear to love. It's widely regarded in the industry to need tweaking as it isn't working as well as it might at the moment, but of course we don't need to leave the EU to do that. You've also got the Construction Industry Training Board levy, which is taken from any employer with a wage bill of over £80k to be invested in training for the industry.

He is an EU Zealot. Anyone who has ever listened to him speaking understands this, and he would freely admit it. He is also one of the most powerful EU MEP’s, representing the EU Parliament in the Brexit talks and is angling for the top job in the EU. So he’s probably nobody.......

Yes, he's the EU negotiator for Brexit, but he has no power to actually create the federal Europe he was talking about in the video Dan shared. He's angled for the top job in the EU before and didn't get it, quite probably because most member states don't agree with his vision. If our answer is to run away from such a powerless man, I'm beginning to see why the negotiations have gone so well.

Horses for courses. He is a sneaky untrustworthy individual who I cannot stand, but he is head and shoulders above May when it comes to dealing with other sneaky untrustworthy individuals......

Yes, they're so sneaky that they're doing what they said they would from the very off, and what was dismissed as project fear when predicted by remain voters. Lets face it Pete, you expected the EU to bow down before the great Albion and are upset that they haven't, and the only reason you believe they haven't is because they've pulled off some kind of Dick Dastardly move to trick us.
