But just think of all those Rulez we can write, and all the money to the NHS mate. Gonna be ace.
I do wonder what their post Brexit day comedown is going to be like.

When no unicorns miraculously appear and things just start being a bit crapper than were before.

I picture these forlorn looking souls just sat there wondering what it was all about.

Like 98% of folk, being generous there, I hadnt given it a moments thought. Cocking mess this.

@bullybeef

See mate?

You've probably twigged that I feel strongly about this, but I don't really understand how any country can be a signatory of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, whose very first article is the right to equality, can then discriminate who can and cannot reside in a country based upon nationality. The freedom to live where you please is a beautiful and just extension to the European Convention on Human Rights, and it's little short of a tragedy to see so many willing to toss it aside. I can only presume that they've never been denied the possibility to move freely in the past so have no idea how repressive it is.

I doubt my generous 98% had a clue mate. I didnt.

Unfortunately there’s still an obvious and far larger than previously thought, number of the English, and I have deliberately singled them out, who still see people moving here as being a threat to their existence, they’re after what we’ve got, they want a free ride, they’ll clog up our Dr’s and schools, they’ll change our way of life, they’re a bit scary.

But wait, you live in Sunderland and there’s hardly any EU migrants in Sunderland.....yeah but there might be one day!

It’ll be forcible repatriation of foreigners next, just watch. It’s the will of the people!

I CBA googling, but it would be interesting to see how places like Swindon, Oxford, Solihul, Ellesmere Port, Sunderland, etc voted.
I think I would be on pretty solid ground by suggesting Sunderland and EP will have voted to leave.
Based on family's opinion in the Port, and my extended work on Wearside.

It's an option we're considering, yes.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about it, but I love the people here and I'm not willing to give up them.

Brexit will likely cause a lot of damage to our country, not only economically - but socially ~ but I'll also add that it's endemic of a more pressing issue.

The simple fact of the matter is that people do not trust the political class, and that needs to be addressed if we are to have at least any remnants of hope in sorting this god awful mess out.

There is no evidence to suggest that trade deficits are bad, as most reputable economists will tell you. The US, for instance, has had a trade deficit every year for the past 30 years or so at least, yet their economy continues to thrive. Who'd have thunk it?

Indeed that can be the case. BUT, that is only because the rest of their economy is doing so well. Meanwhile countries like Germany who are running a surplus with both the U.K. and the USA are amassing cash at an alarming rate of knots while both the USA and U.K. have large fiscal deficits and debts. Just follow the cash is always the golden rule........use your own Tesco analogy.......

BMW will stop production at its Mini factory in Oxford for several weeks to avoid supply disruption in case of a no-deal Brexit, the German auto giant said Tuesday.

The carmaker will bring forward its annual maintenance shutdown at the facility in southern England to start on Monday April 1, 2019.

Britain is to leave the European Union on Friday March 29—but trade talks have stalled between Brussels and London, stoking concerns over a so-called hard Brexit.

"As a responsible organisation, we have scheduled next year's annual maintenance period at Mini Plant Oxford to start on 1 April, when the UK exits the EU," BMW said in a brief statement released to the media.

So that’s two German led companies (BMW and JLR) telling us that everything will fall apart.......
