As soon as someone from a car company says Brexit is a bad idea the Brexiteers jump all over them with their 'project fear'. According to them their is a 'bright new world' out there for trade. Obviously, motor manufacturers 'don't see it, don't get it etc'. Incredible, they are going to 'make a packet' but are against this by warning that Brexit will be disastrous for car manufacturers. As far as world trade goes for UK cars the strategy will be made in Germany, France, India and Japan not in London.
Car manufacturers have worked out about supply chains, WTO tariffs on their goods sold abroad until there are trade deals. They will have factored them in including the added costs to transporting more goods around the world. How many UK Nissan's sold in Australia are made in Sunderland? Same how many in Brazil, Africa? We are told that the Commonwealth will take up the slack. How many in Africa, India, Asia can afford a UK made car? Courtesy of 3 men in a pub. A very good watch is 3 men in a pub Brexit part 1.
Here’s a former strategist for JLR explaining exactly how detailed their Brexit planning has been, and why.

But of course some back bench Brexiteer and Bob down the Dog and Duck knows better....

Why do you dislike receiving EU money so much ? Is it because it makes you feel somewhat dependent on them, and you find that abhorrent when you feel that should be standing on your own feet ? If that is so, you are missing the point as to why the EU exists - it is for the mutual benefit of all its member states, not for the purpose of some member states dominating others. At the end of the day it is only narrow minded nationalism that prevents you appreciating that principle. Sadly after Brexit you are going to find this out to your cost.

EU money is our money we are in a deficit of 8 billion a year - also the rest some of it is our money which the give it back telling us how it has to be spent .......we put 18 billion in per year if our growth goes up - we are pinished to pay more ....
Most countries pay nothing ..... it a gravy train for civil servants and affords two parliaments in an unelected commission....
That's why I voted Out.......

Sounds a bit mean that, counting the pennies. It's a standard 'Leave' response to measure everything in black and white / pluses and minuses.

Surely you can appreciate that the benefits in terms of the Single Market attracting inward investment far outweighs any penny-pinching.

To say our current deal with the EU runs at a net deficit based solely on the membership fee, just shows how facile the entire argument has been tbh mate.

16 billion in pennies to then be told how to spend it is not petty......

You make it sound like it was your money. In the event that there were any superficial savings they would probably be spent on the next nuclear deterrent anyway. The British taxpayer wouldn't see a penny of it, neither would the public services.

I'm afraid the Leave campaign have sold you and others a dummy here.

It's the remainers who suck dummies after defeat;)
