As an extension to this issue, the next time Referendum is mentioned as a means to depict the will of the country, I'll scream.
The example of Brexit should be held up as an example as to why the great unwashed should never be trusted again with such important and far reaching decisions.

If it proves one thing it is we shouldn't trust the people voted to make decisions on our behalf! Well at least the rebel Tory MPs that decided going on this path was going to be great.

We should have realised that after the Boaty McBoatface vote,

Here's one for you, if for one moment I could foresee the amount of chaos that is being caused, I would not have bothered my arse voting. Is that fair enough a response?
That should answer Number_25 1st question as well.
What did I want? In a few words, not having to kowtow to Europe to implement laws benefitting the UK.
I think that's reasonable.
Edit: I edited this post as I was just going over old ground you're well aware of.

Jaguar have just put its staff on a 3 day working week until at least Xmas indicating brexit was part of decision.

Don't worry though job loses are all project fear and fake news.

Strange how falling sales affect production targets isn’t it.....oh no, it’s Brexit of course. Now can you explain exactly why Brexit has affected the sales of jaguar cars.....

“Jaguar Land Rover is moving to a three-day working week at its Castle Bromwich factory as falling sales and Brexit fears hit the plant.
The company told the 2,000 affected staff at the Midlands plant, which builds Jaguar cars, that they will work reduced hours until Christmas to preserve their jobs.
In April JLR said it was cutting 1,000 agency jobs at its UK plants and relocating 350 permanent staff from Castle Bromwich, which makes the XE, XF and XJ saloons and F-Type sports cars, to its Solihull factory.
A spokesman for the company said the decision was "temporary" and came after a "regular review of production schedules to ensure market demand is balanced globally".

I'd imagine their hedging their bets with a severe supply chain disruption being a distinct possibility next year.

Then why would they say it’s falling sales. Now as an ex jaguar driver of many years, that now drives a Range Rover, I might point out that the luxury of the jaguar is no better than a rr, that the drive is no better, but the joy of driving and versatility of the rr, together with a myriad of other outstanding SUV’s on the market, might just be having an effect upon sales of an overpriced saloon.....but hey it’s probably Brexit, because that way Management can’t be blamed.....

You want to see the price they put on them in China mate. Or at least did anyrate. Maybe they have been rumbled a bit......

It would not be the anti design campaign would it, or the fact EFC are playing rubbish yes let's blame Brexit.......

This is not us that have made this up, this is the bloke from Jaguar. I said a while back that it gives CEOs a perfect excuse to fire staff/shut down/move production away, free from blame as they can just say brexit and this is what will happen all over the country.

...And is it possible that falling sales have come due to the uncertainty brexit brings? I would be hesitant buying a brand new motor when in 6 months you may not have a job or the second hand market collapses due to a flood of people getting shot of their nearly new vehicles because they can no longer afford them.

They are caught up in the success of their land rover product lines. The market for 4x4 SUV vehicles is continually growing, there are more rr on the road than ever. The overall car market is changing as executives and families go for suv’s, pick ups and cars that are just more fun. Tastes are changing......

People who buy new jaguars are not sitting there worrying if they will have a job because of Brexit. This is a product and product mix issue. The CEO should be fired for attempting to mislead his shareholders.....
