The second sentence Joey.
It means nothing in the senario I gave you as you admit to go against a democratic vote - i too I am against the filthy rich the majority who push remain - 2nd referendums - So the scenario is you would go on strike in what Iaid out to you, but would not accept the democratic negotiation by the trade union - I came from a mining background My father in law was on strike for 12 months .......

First of all, solidarity to you and your family and a huge thank you for sacrificing so much for that battle.

We need to extend the recognition of all who voted against leaving the EU, and recognise their democratic weight. Not doing so will amount to a failure of democracy. I share your belief that we need to confront the privileged elite who have destroyed much of the world, but leaving the EU on the probable terms negotiated would be of huge cost toward achieving that goal.

It will be when remainers won't accept the democratic vote -
If a Unon votes democratically for a strike by now ballot - and yes I have been on strike, and picketed -
You expect your top Union men to negotiate a good deal to return to work - I do agree our negotiations have been pathetic - I wonder why ........
Lets see if we get in a deal that's what this thread should be about now imo........
The way forwards not back to pre referendum arguments .......

So if the final deal is bad and not what was promised, you’d back a reversal of this?

Really in bold why o why are posters who were remainers still running the referendum debate - Look I want to leave on the best possible terms for both sides - not be bullied into submission in negotiations or be labeled an Idiot on here either........

It's not hard to understand is it Joey. The country voted on the principle of one question. Would you like the UK to leave/remain a member of the EU? Given the chance, like you, I would love to control our own borders/courts without being dictated to by the EU so I could answer leave to that question. It however doesn't say no matter the cost did it? Too many people got caught up in a web of lies to understand it is in the EU's interest to make us suffer if we leave so other countries in the EU don't try. This will be painful and you can sit there all you want and say we have already decided but it's probably not going to effect your job is it? Companies who have been looking for a reason to pull out of the UK but could suffer a PR crisis doing so have now a perfect excuse gift wrapped with a nice bow on top.

We had a perfectly legit referendum to set us on that path and once the best deal has been presented and approved, why not then give it back to the people and say do you want to take this deal or not? All based on fact and not wishy washy claims. That my friend is real democracy at work, the other sort you talk of is a group of people who are just lemmings ready to follow the leader into the sea.

As it stands the government of the day have ruled it out
Labour have almost ruled it out.......
why not have the best of three ignore the cost of it........

This third referendum argument is both boring and feeble. If you are that stubborn that you can't see the difference why a 2nd one is required and why a third one wouldn't be then really there is no hope. If we had a 2nd one and leave won again, I would hope it's because the deal parliament have come up with is actually decent enough to believe in OR if it isn't and they still vote to leave then really I would be past caring anyhow.

The question is why are you scared to have another vote? Is it because you don't actually believe it is in the best interests of the country? Surely if all you say is true the leave vote will win again.

Democratical vote Bruce - imo your a sore loser........ also Bruce leaving is now an act of parliment........ calling people who disagree with you idiots - is well below the belt Bruce.......

The ‘sore loser’, you lost get over it type retort from Leavers also really grates my gears Joey.

As my view on Brexit has always been that it’s not in the best interests of the country and the seemingly intangible ‘benefits’ of regaining Sovereignty and being ‘masters of our our destiny’, don’t hold up to any real scrutiny imo.
So I’ve always been pro remain as a result.

However, the result was the result and to deliver the result of the referendum we had to leave the EU, my view on that has always been that we do that in such a way that is the least damaging to our economy. As ultimately these supposed benefits matter little if in chasing them, we dramatically reduce our GDP, and thus with it our treasury’s purse, and thus the fiscal benefit of leaving i.e. the gain back of our membership fee, is completely dwarfed by a loss of tax revenue due to a crashed economy.

In recent months I’ve become completely exacerbated by the downright lies and untruths that have been peddled about the reality of what a ‘no deal’ Brexit would deliver. I’ve spent hours and hours researching the numerous areas of impact that a no deal scenario would bring with it. Read reams of information form numerous sources (business, trade experts, trade bodies, etc etc) about how walking away with nothing, and thus facing the ‘cliff edge’ of all or our trade and regulatory agreements ending on the 29th March, would be literally catastrophic and would impinge on virtually every aspect of our day to day lives, until the literally hundreds of agreements were sorted in what would be a crisis setting.

Having that knowledge and then hearing idiots (and I make no excuse for using that word) like Nadine Dorres, Priti Patel, Davis and Johnson, spouting ill informed nonsense about how all of the experts and business people speaking about all of the very real consequences of that outcome, as being merely ‘project fear MKII’, absolutely winds me off the clock. As then people like you, take their words and parrot them, as if they have some actual validity or basis in fact. When they simply don’t and they’re merely trying to act like Tory Comical Ali’s ffs.

Brexit in whatever form it takes will impact on me financially, with no deal being by far the worst outcome. However, I’m fortunate, I’m cushioned financially from that hit, and whilst I wouldn’t choose it, it won’t change my life. However, that can’t be necessarily said for some of the people who work for me, those in unskilled roles who are already feeling the pinch, which rising inflation has made worse. If the economy takes a bath people like me will be forced to drive down cost in business as demand drops, and the 2 prime areas of cost saving are investment plans e.g. equipment etc, and resource i.e. head count, so normal hard working people will lose their jobs, and for what? What tangible benefit from Brexit are these people (many of whom will have actually voted for it) going to get? What ‘Sovereignty’ benefits are heading their way, what’s the upside for your average man in the street? As I’m stuffed if I can see it, and pardon me for passionately wanting to make people open their eyes to what’s coming here, and to stop listening to spivs and liars like Farage and Rees Mogg, and take on board the reality of what a no deal Brexit would do to this country, and trust me - it ain’t gonna be pretty.

Woy STILL wants a second vote after last night's game.

Honest, he told me.

He phoned me and said, 'Mr. Putin, this cannot be allowed to happen! It's not fair, I tell you, it's not fair! WIth your influence, you can change it. Get Ramos onto it. He can do it! He can fix anything.'

Shame no one who wants to leave has either the ability or knowledge to challenge this post, other than with the usual vacuous sound bites.
