The EU make a fair bit trading with the WTO on our behalf....yes the WTO which reamai eats in the U.K. Dread.......
That's why is we dealt worldwide direct we would save even more 10 billion membership, and futher monies upto 18 billion which they rebate back to us i.e. Telling us how to spend it etc ...
Being independent is no big deal and all that was necessary was the divorce payment, and to keep a trade deal outside the EU on big business of course they have been as awkward as pig crap and twice as sloppy, they will stall all the way imo.......
it's the fear factor the EU are playing on!

I don't mean to be rude, but I really don't follow you here...

The WTO tariffs are negotiated by the EU on behalf of us at the advantage for them financially..?

Dont get it Joe. When we were in the EU, the EU negotiated with the WTO to get the best deal for the EU. Which we were in.

Not sure why thats a problem, as we may well have had representatives in the negotiations, being a major member of the EU.

Or will the EU negotiate with the WTO on our behalf when we leave?

No we will be independent to trade in the WTO worldwide on our terms minus EU intervention ATM we are a member of the WTO since 1995 within the confines of EU regulations........

It may mean either the stop getting a freebie, or the other larger countries dig deeper to take up the deficit the U.K. being th 4th largest contributor to the EU budget ....
So it is reavant to your questions...."
Who’s objected to it Joey?

The EU commissioners have dealt with Brexit not any individual countries or its MEPs - By The way the WTO leader is set to speed up WTO deals for the UK as soon as we leave as we are already members since 1995 in the dreaded EU block hence we will be independent......

Really Joe? Where's the quote or link saying that from the WTO leader? Many moons ago on here I linked an article for you where he said pretty much the opposite.

I'm at a point now where it's just like watching a car crash about to happen. Everyone will suffer and the only ones left happy will be three distinct groups:

- ideological driven "British Empire" Tories. Most have enough wealth to see out the turmoil and then sniff out the distressed sellers

- the old and nostalgic wanting to go back to the 40s and 50s of their childhoods. They are safe and satisfied on their pensions and isolated from the real world

- the unemployed and poorly educated. Do as they are told.

As usual total project fear tosh....
We survived before the EU ...lack of ambition and left wing socialist drivel....
Corbyn saying nothing ......

That'd annihilate our economy though, which will hurt all of us in the long run

I honestly think we could get a Norway style deal out of this, and the EU would go with it, the problem is the more vocal section of the pro-Brexit crowd probably wouldn't want that as they'd see it as being too much like it was before, even though it's probably the best deal we could get

You are talking as if we are having to go cap in hand for some handout. Have you never taken an opportunity. Do you not believe in your own abilities. What exactly are you afraid of.......
