He and Gearge Bush should have been on trial at The Hague for war crimes - weapons of mass destruction- non there the whole basis for an illegal invasion- the rise of Isis because of the legal war they started without UN backing one big mistake that was !
Billy liar Blair backed him end of !
To defend those pair is rediculous!

It will never happen, but if it went to a court of law he would be found guilty.......

I'm really curious as to how you arrived at this conclusion. All I asked you was how you felt qualified to speak for everyone when you said "the people" wanted a second vote. You have avoided answering repeatedly. I'm perfectly awere that many remainers are unhappy with the current situation, 48% of people who voted wanted to remain so clearly the nation is very devided. That does not mean that so many people also want a second Referndum. It is extremely anecdotal. You think I'm angry? Really interested to know how you were able to see though a computer screen and know how anyone is felling. Bemused is more what i was felling while reading you post.

You neglect to mentionthe fact that they answer to a leader in Taresa May who is a know remain voter who has the final say on everything. Non of that answers the point You made when you bizarrely blame Brexit itself rather then those who voted for it or the people who implanted it.

Again with this? Really? How can you determine what "the people want"? The people were asked and the gave an answer. Thrn you talk about the General Election as though it's some sort of measuring stick over Brexit. News flash, the Tories won. Labour couldn't make up even a minority government if the tried but even if they did so what? Corbyn is know as a closet leave voter so how exactlyis people voting for him further proof that "the people" want another Referndum? You keep talking about "the people" yet you want to ignore them after they gave their answer in 2016 because it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

No mate, you just had war criminals like Tony Blair backing your side.:)

Sound bites conjecture and a dose of boring deflecting partisan bias, thats all the answers Brexit offers, its why it's flaccid its why May looked desperate yesterday....

Well that's interesting. Your post is a pretty accurate reflection of opinion on every comment you have made during this discussion. It's pointless us going further, you've made it very clear that you won't answer any questions or properly engaged in debate.

Indeed.

I'm not sure Brexit really fits the previous right/left explanation does it?

Yes true, there is clear sense of anger within Brexit, just not sure what they angry about, don’t actually think they really know, perhaps it’s no common consensus within the ranks that makes Brexit so difficult to understand.

One day it’s about sovereignty and democracy, but in reality of the global world of capitalism, self determination is one free trade deal away of being cast away on the whim of the share holder. And general person won’t care as long as key elements of their life are on an upward trend, and as it’s not, there is the real problem.

Then another day, it’s about immigration within the EU construct under freedom of movement (key element to any free trade deals), putting undue pressure on public services, Health Housing Education. Yet neither is it noted or spoken about that immigration from the rest of the world is of greater number which our Government has full control over, no logic.

Trouble with Brexit as i see it, with its various fringe elements of our political spectrum latching onto the worries of the downward trend of peoples lives they have decided to lump it all on the EU. As EU is bad for their varying agendas, it was a nice easy fix for a while. However, as detail is now needed and they have vastly different and compromising reason for wanting out of the EU. Rather than come to common consensus with themselves they lay blame elsewhere.

“Dozens of dons today hit out at "commonplace" claims that"informed people oppose Brexit".

A coalition of leading academics, including economists, lawyers, historians, scientists, and a former head of MI6, warn against "divisive" attempts to associate supporters of Britain's departure from the EU with "low levels of education and information".

The academics, including individuals from both sides of the referendum debate, have formed a new group, Briefings for Brexit, which aims to counter the claims with "serious evidence and reasoned arguments".

.........I’m sure that Bruce will find its outputs, when they arrive, interesting.......

Blair isn't/that postwasn't a war criminal. Not even close. He was the best politician of his generation and history will be kinder to him.

He was the first British political leader in 400+ years to treat Ireland with respect. His flagship initiatives actually changed millions of lives for the better.

One mistake (to trust the Americans on Iraq) does not make him a monster.
That post is laughable!

I see Estonia is calling for greater EU spending on defence as they actually do hit the 2% target. Germany with a pathetic 1.2% are doing sod all. Meanwhile the U.K. is leading the defence of Estonia via NATO. No wonder the EU doesn’t want to have defence as part of the negotiations........

Defence has never been a strong hand for most European states, lets face it.

And yet you oppose an Eu army (and would probably find fault if Germany massively increased defence spending)

I oppose the EU setting up a rival to NATO, which it would certainly do if it had an EU army, Brussels just couldn’t help throwing its weight around. I do understand the German viewpoint, but as Merkels deputy admitted this week they are very happy to let the USA, UK and France do the dirty work for them.......

Indeed, but we spend a great deal of money on defence and many countries in the EU get the benefit. The USA is quite right in demanding that the EU pays its way as the USA has been providing the comfort blanket for a lot of years and getting absolutely no credit or thanks for it. May is quite right to raise this in negotiations and the EU are quite adamant, because of their weakness, in ignoring it......
