Unelected bureaucrats is my favourite one, like we elect Simon Stevens or any of the senior civil servants in this country rather than them being appointed (and accountable) to the people we do elect, which is just like it is in the EU.

Yes and whatever you do don't mention the Governor of the Bank of England as well.

I also liked the irony in the run up to the referendum itself of interviews with various voters in their own homes. There was one on the Leave side ranting on about "some fancy dan unelected EU president" and there behind her was about a hundred nick nacks and pictures of Her Majesty The Queen. Her Royal Highness of Hanover.

BTW, "far right" because sombody made a meme mocking a radio presenter and political commentator?! Ok mate, that type of melodramatic nonsense is why some don't take the term far-right as seriously as they should these days.

Fair point but it's kind of strange to mock someone for highlighting the horrific ignorance of somebody that voted for Leave without actually addressing the point being made so clearly - that millions of people voted to Leave based on nothing more than a few Daily Mail headlines.

Far right as whoever created that pile of crap labelled an articulate and intelligent man as being nothing more than someone who shouts racist. He does nothing of the sort, what he does do is drill down into the supposed reasons that people voted leave, and invariably arrives at the same destination.

I wasn't mocking him for specifically for that though mate. As I said, it was meant to be a joke.

I would point out however that it's easy to highlight the stupidity of callers on a radio show and portray that as typical of 17.4million voters. It would be just as easy to search the internet and look for idiot remain voters who had no logical reason for voting as they did. Bashing voters on either side is pointless at this stage and isn't particularly helpful if people intend to win the other side around to changing their votes should we have a second referndum.

Ok mate. I apologise profusely for criticising St O'Brien our Lord and saviour who is obviously so far beyond us mere mortals that a joke aimed at him is obviously to much for his oh so delicate supporters.
